Re: The You Game!
< personally would suggest Final Fantasy III/VI (US/JP), Final Fantasy VIII, and IX.

Hmm, does ^ know which consoles they're on? < feels like < would be more motivated to play a handheld RPG than one on home console/PC

< Has had Final Fantasy VI in his backlog for a while
< Is really looking forward to it, but < also has Chrono Trigger and Secrets of Mana, all equally amazing RPGs
< not sure what to start first

< says they originated on SNES/SuperFamicom and Playstation.Ambidextroid wrote:Hmm, does ^ know which consoles they're on? < feels like < would be more motivated to play a handheld RPG than one on home console/PC
< knows for sure that Final Fantasy IX is available on iOS (Maybe Android too? I haven't looked), so it's possible to play it on the go.
What handheld devices does ^ have?

Re: The You Game!
< has a CFW PSP so < could play any PS1 games, < also has a homebrewed 3DS so < could play SNES games portably too.

Re: The You Game!
So then yeah, ^ is likely all set then to play any of those titles.
Re: The You Game!
FFVI is on SNES and FFVIII & IX are on PSone. < hopes that helps!Ambidextroid wrote:Hmm, does ^ know which consoles they're on? < feels like < would be more motivated to play a handheld RPG than one on home console/PC

Re: The You Game!
Thanks Fif, <'ll probably try out VIII first then as the PS1 emulator's more stable than pretty much any homebrew on 3DS.

Re: The You Game!
< always found it strange how the PSP was able to handle ps1 emulation pretty much perfectly, but the 3ds struggled to get SNES emulation right until the newer iteration came out.

That is curious indeed. < recalls running Super Metroid on <'s old PSP when < CFWed it, and it ran without issues.
Re: The You Game!
< just watched a Homer VS Giygas MUGEN video.

< agrees with ^.
< says that he is not going to die.
< might bring up the ol' Project64 Emulator up and running with some Super Mario 64 much much later on.
