I agree, it's an interesting and informative video as always! Also, good find! Keep up the good work!

Videos of unused content in games is always very intriguing to watch and worthwhile too! :)

Nice work, it's an interesting video indeed. I would like to have been able to play that minigame just to try it out.

It never fails to amaze me when more scrapped content turns up.

UPDATE: I just finished the final boss in Legends on PC today, I still have to play the Back To Origins levels and Grannies World Tour though. Likewise to Origins, I'm changing my vote to the PC as my favourite version, since it can run in a higher resolution than 1080p.

Thank you Carrot for this video. It's interesting to learn about unused content.

OK so I've yet to bother finishing my latest playthrough of Legends, but I plan to get back to it today. I want to get the million Lums and reach level 11, but it's definitely going to take a lot of grinding. I guess I could just keep replaying levels, but it would make more sense to play challenges so I'm at least getting cups towards the level of awesomeness.

Note to self, back up the save regularly.

EDIT: I never noticed until now that as soon as you pass Aurora in the Heroes gallery, the music stops playing. As soon as you get back to her again it starts playing. Seems a bit wierd. :P

UPDATE: The fact that 20,000 Lums Under The Sea is named 600 Feet Under makes me wonder if that was the original name for the world, but was then given to a level instead. Similar to what happened with Swarmed & Dangerous.

Oh, boi.
2 months of grinding ahead.
And it's now harder to get better trophies in challenges.

I had 900k on Xbox, but lost my save, so decided to just stick to the PC version from now on. As for the challenges, I did manage to get a couple of Diamond Cups about a year and a half ago, but the last few times I tried, I found it next to impossible to obtain anything better than a Gold Cup. Like you're referring to, with less people playing, it becomes harder, since most of the people still playing will be the ones getting really good times/scores on the challenges.

Heh. I cut myself off multiplayer completely, so there is no way for me to get the 1,000,000 lums and level 11. :)

I gave up gaming competitively a long time ago, it's way too toxic nowadays. If I'm going to play online these days, it's usually only to play a co-op game. As for Legends, I guess I have no choice but to do challenges if I ever want to get to level 11. They really make you grind for it though.

I got the million Lums, but I didn't even bother trying for level 11, it's just way too hard for me. :fou2:

Same, I wouldn't do grinding because grinding isn't fun in my opinion and the goal is just not worth it overall I think. I definitely wouldn't recommend going for it either.

I did say already that I was trying my best to get the final character of the game but I gave up on that. I also got the PSN account and tried the challenges. I eventually grew bored of that as well. The challenges (for me) is just repetitive and it gets annoying after a while and the diamond cups are what I don't care about anymore. The whole point of me doing those things was to get my name out there.

Grinding feels like a chore to be honest.

Too sad we had to give up on that one last trophy, though!

I wouldn't recommend doing it all in one go, the game actually remembers your points earned from challenges on your uPlay account, so even if you start a new game, you'll always have the points you earned in challenges. That means that you could get to level 11 even if it takes years of only playing a challenge every so often, so long as you complete the game again that is.

From early 2015 to late 2016 I did play the challenges every day almost without fail. I guess it was some form of escapism… Anyway, I did reach level 11 during that time. :P

I did the same on Xbox for a while but I still only had about 5,000 points. Saying that, I do remember being so annoyed about losing the save that I played the game again. :P

Luckily the score is synced to your Uplay account, so when I lost my PC save I at least didn't have to redo the rank 11 grinding. As someone who really likes the challenges though I haven't been that bothered by it, but it's been tedious as I've done it on so many platforms (PS3, PS4, Vita, PC, Switch). I'd say it's worth doing once for a trophy or so, but not for Switch as nothing changes. Switch version isn't very completionist friendly either as there's a visual bug where you have 14 or so lucky tickets you can't scratch at the end due to the added levels :P They never fixed that, so it looks like you still have things left in the game.

When you say "nothing changes", you mean they have the same challenges every week on Switch? :o

No no, bad wording on my part :p I meant there's no final reward to get to rank 11, like a trophy or something similar. There's no Uplay connectivity on Switch either. So it's purely just a local achievement.
