< will be going back to the golf course tomorrow to try out an altered swing thanks to that coach < met yesterday. < is going to focus on keeping <'s left arm straight during the backswing.

< used to make the mistake of taking <'s eye off the ball during the backswing in the driving range. It took < a while to realise that simple mistake :P

< is amazed that even though < is not being hyperactive like last week, < still somehow made 120 ppd. < is not ashamed of <self for saying that, though < wishes it could go down a little so that it won't look like < spams all day.

< hopes today will be a better day, < did try getting more sleep. Was somewhat of a slight struggle.

< didn't get a whole lot of sleep again. < probably needs to go to sleep earlier than usual.

< believes that to be a very wise idea. < knows it doesn't help < think well with lack of sleep.

< finally worked up the courage to open the CRT TV and fix the convergence issues. < had a problem where the red gun was off to the left and down especially on the left of the screen. < had to play with the left of the screen looking all distorted and < just got annoyed and went for it. < knows working with CRT's is very dangerous though and < wouldn't recommend it. The only reason < bothered is because everytime < gets a CRT it breaks or looks awful but this one looked OK apart from the convergence. < can play games now without constantly saying it looks awful

< wonders if ^ has a proper generator so that ^ could adjust the convergence accurately?

< keeps meaning to do this for some of <'s CRTs, but it's quite the task one needs proper space and care to handle it with.

< wonders how you fix a CRT? Is there some way of adjusting the coils or do you have to replace the parts entirely?
<'s wondering what < should have for dinner, there's not much left in the house... Looks like fish and chips is the only option

< just had to use a PS3 and a picture of a white crosshatch pattern. < doesn't think it's 100% perfect or even possible on this set but < is much happier with the picture then before the adjustment. The center of the screen was OK but the corners and left side especially were horrible. < has it now that blue is still slightly low on the very bottom left corner and red very slightly higher on the top right but < thinks its just the nature of the set.

< is much happier with very slight issues in the corners than the whole left side of the screen being off. < doesn't think there's such thing as a CRT with 100% perfect geometry anyway due to their nature.

Edit: < says there's adjustment rings on the yoke that adjust the magnets in the tube neck to ^

< will be getting some capacitors changed out, and ready to tune up the Sony BVM Professional CRT monitor < has.

< had an overall good day at the range. < struggled early getting used to the new swing but < got better with each shot hit. If < can find some fix to <'s tendency to pull shots and reduce the constant topping of the ball with the mid-long irons on the ground, < should be ready to play 9 holes. :)

< had a problem with topping them with the driver at first, then < used to he the mat just behind the ball taking all the power out of it. < also had this one time using the big rubber tee where < hit the ball with a 3 wood and the club went right under the ball and gave it so much loft that it hit the roof above <

Kind of dangerous though as it could've went anywhere. Also this one time < sliced the ball so far that it hit the barrier beside < and hit <'s dad in the leg :P

< was only 13 at the time though and < clearly wasn't very good

< wonders why <'s PPD went up by 1 even though < has been posting a lot less than usual the last 2 days because < was fixing stuff. Kind of odd considering that's an average over nearly 2 months :?
