Take out that thing about Dfend, and...

You failed to specify this in the post in question.

The SFX remind me of RRR.

Well, my skills in R1 are improving but I still can't do the second level of Picture City. Those bouncy erasers are SOOOOOOO annoying!

Pencil Pentathlon?
I suggest you to use often the helicopter and grabbing often the eraser's edges too.
You can also see my video of that level if you want some extra help:

By the way, since many people have been asking me how I succeed in putting the in-game music of R1 (Also for Rayman Junior) working on ePSXe I created this video:

HAY GUYS
I'M NOT IN CANADA, BUT THERE IS A BRIGHT SIDE
I have my 32-bit desktop back.
You know what this means?
RAYMAN ON MY VISTA!
Couldn't get the music to work with Pok2's patch though, so I downloaded DOSBox and got it going myself. There are a few hiccups here and there, but overall, it's fine.

You could give a shot to D-Fend Reloader, I know it uses DOSBOX but it is way easier to handle and to put the game working great 100%.

Actually, I installed the d-fend reloader and found myself just using the DOSBox prompts and everything to get it installed. Then I couldn't even figure out how to get the game to appear on the list once it has been installed. Blegh. So I'm just playing it in the DOSBox window.

Man, I just realized that this is now a 15-year-old game. There are people around on these forums that aren't even that old.

This is a fix-tutorial I made for how to get music working with pok2's patch on Vista.
Please don't say I am soliciting for Betilla's Gardens, I am not.

When this game came out, i was starting 2nd grade... or was it 3rd? I played this game New Year's '95/'96 at a friend's house during a party. He gave me the game because he didn't play it all that much.

I must have been about 8 when it came out but of course I didn't hear of it until I was 12/13.
Good job getting the game to work in vistaaargh

I kind of want to get Windows 7, but on the other hand, due to compatibility issues with some games, I would kind of have to go back to square one on some things.
I'll probably just put it on my laptop at one point.
I still can't get Rayman to fully work on the laptop though. I'm guessing because I'm running 64-bit on it. Both the sound and music never work, no matter what I do.
*edit*
I have registered FRAPS working by the way in case anyone wants me to record any sort of gameplay video.

I was about two when it came out but I didn't play it until I was six.
