Ah, right! :)
Funnily enough < searched through <'s post history to see if < could find where < mentioned <'s betting experience but found only vague allusions to it. < may have told the whole tale only on the French side…

Yeah < means loctite ;)

It should probably be OK without it anyway as it shouldn't turn. It just sits on the left rail and adjusts the angle the laser faces the disc at.

After all the time < has spent fixing all sorts of consoles and electronics, < has just now learned that the PS2 uses different eeprom settings for each different laser (KHS-400B, KHS-400C, KHS-400R and SF-HD7) meaning if you don't replace it with the same type it won't work correctly and will take a long time to recognise discs and may not even read a CD (like a PS1 game) at all.

< was puzzled that <'s brand new KHS-400C's wouldn't work properly in some of the PS2 models < has, but < found out that with FCMB < could actually reprogram the eeprom to allow the KHS-400C correctly. < can't believe that < only found this out now but < is really happy to have <'s V6 and V10 PS2's function perfectly again :D

That explains why <'s V7 has always worked with all the lasers < tested as it's clearly programmed for a KHS-400C. < has a feeling the V6 had been programmed for a KHS-400B as it would sometimes take a while to recognise a disc but it's perfect now too :)

< doesn't know if it's <, but sometimes < can feel <self twitching without < doing anything. < has known this has been with < for a long time, but lately it's become more apparent. < has gotten used to it, but < still thinks it feels weird. < is twitching more than usual today....< thinks it's probably bc of my interview today. Just need to stay calm and be confident!

On the bright side, < LOVES <'s new Bzzit rank! YAY!!!!

< wonders if you're talking about a small rapid twitching that happens on some random part of your body?
If so it's probably just your nerve endings firing randomly, it happens to < all time time. < isn't exactly sure why it happens but < believes it has to do with your body repairing damaged nerves and reconnecting them to muscle tissue.

Also, good luck with your interview!

Yeah, that's the sensation that < usually feels. < usually doesn't notice when it happens, but sometimes < can see it actually happening to <. Strange, but intriguing!

< used to have that problem with <'s eyelids and < was a bit freaked over it

< was just overly nervous back then though, it doesn't happen anymore :P

EDIT: < needs a 6.3v 4.7uF capacitor for <'s Saturn. Dammit < is gonna have to order one online :(

< hopes that a new DKC game will come out soon, but < will always love the original 3. <‘s favorite is definitely #2, for the environments and the music. < love David Wise’s soundtracks.

< says to ^ that this isn’t the best thread to be putting that on.

< is a bit envious.

< thanks ^. Although 100 or less of <'s posts probably actually help anyone on here :oops2:

< is trying lately though to put up some more useful posts unlike just saying "I have never put my foot through a TV"

< doesn't even think that was the point of that thread but it's probably intended for stuff like "I have never seen / played... etc. :)
