< wonders if there’s anyone who remembers the old [spoiler tags] before the blurry ones were added?

< does remember them indeed. They were cool, if a little less flexible.

< now realises that all the sprite ripping others do isn't as easy as < would have expected. In the GBA games < literally has to pause emulation and advance one frame at a time while saving each sprite frame from OAM viewer. < always thought it was just as easy as extracting the contents and having them be there, not the case at all.

< remembers Sabertooth had a collection of sprites so ripped. < wonders if it's still there somewhere…

< might have a look around so. < wants to use the GBA RRR sprites to try use in a game. < isn't entirely sure if < will get it working properly with how much animation there is. There's a lot of frames and then especially how Rayman's fist has to be a separate object temporarily when it leaves his side. < is sure < will manage if < wants to do it that much though.

<'s been trying to use gml for hours. <'s head is going around in circles and < only has basic jump, run and crawl physics and still has no hairlicopter yet

Not to mention the punching which also has a white or gold fist depending on the time it was charged for. < has to do that too.

< has been checking each morning and whenever < could just in case.

< thinks it's seriously not easy to get these game physics working properly and after hours < only has a very basic Rayman character that can crawl, run, jump and just about grab ledges. The grabbing isn't perfect yet but at least < got it to work.

< is getting frustrated with the Hard Rocks stage, not because of difficulty but because < can't seem to get the right playthrough out of it. < just wasted an hour trying to get it right and < still has nothing on it. :pascontent:

Ah The Hard Rocks. < still remembers typing a ridiculously long paragraph in the R1 guide on that then having to just summarize it in the end due to the length

See < would need a half completed save by now to even help ^ because starting from the beginning at this point is more or less useless.

< begs to differ, since < hasn't documented any of the lums yet, and at this point of the game where < is at, < would need to restart the game fresh in order to remember where any of the lums were
