I can imagine you jumping up with joy for this since you had that whole Star Fox test in Cryengine. :p

Only 4 more days until Smash on Wii U, commence countdown.
I may do midnight launch but I'm not entirely sure.

I got this game today for 20 EUR at local store. I think it is good deal considering it will become expensive as hell. Props for hackers and can't wait to make my 3DS region free. Who would know that living in a country where gaming is low and where people barely hack will pay off at least for something :P
I already see big prices for this game online.

I heard about this. I never hack my handhelds or consoles until it becomes no longer supported by that company. Which is why I really want a new PSP. :p

I will hack it if it does mean I can still go online (you could go with hacked Wii online before support ended though).
I will be able to buy Japanese SSB for 3DS and enjoy Japanese voices in that case :D
Same with Kid Icarus, and I will buy Taiko no Tatsujin, Super Sentai, Shingeki no Kyoujin...

Keep in mind some of those games might be difficult for obtaining 100% on with Japanese text.

Hmm, given how the big 'uns are with these sort of things, I can imagine Ninty might be rushing to patch this.

My god, they did it again?? I thought that when that one Zelda game came out that allowed users to hack into the Wii, they'd learned how to safeguard themselves against that sort of crap. I honestly don't understand:
HOW
CAN A GAME
ALLOW YOU TO
HACK. A. CONSOLE

I'm assuming they break something, which allows for an opening for explotative code? I recall one of the Wii exploits forcibly crashed the Wii in order to open a mod environment.

EDIT: This explains the hack method you were referring to: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_hack#Explanation

LOL, of course I would not get Phoenix Wright on Japanese for example. Mainly Japanese exclusives and point A to point B games and fighting games.

Well, to be fair, Cubic Ninja was not made by Nintendo. I am sure that same mistake like with Zelda will not happen with any other Nintendo made game.

I dunno, wasn't Brawl also a popular game for Wii modding? Sometimes things just can't be helped, though given Ninty's own high standards, it's more likely going to come from a third party than first. Softmods for the PSP often involved games like Lumines or Patapon, if memory serves. Though the more effective option for earlier models was the Pandora Battery trick, which involved cutting a pin from one of the ICs in the battery itself.

Hmm, I ought to study that sometime, given how I've got a bit more understanding with what I've been learning about.

It's not? Well then, I really like the model. It's complimentary to Rayman's.
