I didn't even mention my dislike for Sony there, why did you brig that up?

On the subject of the Sony and Microsoft copying Ninty, I guess you could say that Nintendo copied Sony because PS2 had the EyeToy, which registered a person's movements into the game, much like the Kinect. So you could say that both Microsoft and Nintendo copied Sony, but I also think it was more inspiration than copying. The PS Move is just like an upgraded version of EyeToy.

Ontopic, in one of the previously posted interviews with GameXplain the guy they were talking to said RL wasn't confirmed as Wii U exclusive. There's still hope for seperate versions on other consoles, not just ports!

Good to hear! And I don't think you can compare EyeToy with PS Move or a Wiimote.

The E3 demo of RL made me wonder is this game even playable for singleplayer?

Until they starting to do a price cut, it will take at least 1 or 2 years of wait if they do not decide to repeat the 3DS story. I think it will also depend of how well it will sell later.

Sorry buddy. Maybe later after a few years it gets a port.
My guess is six months before it hits PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
I got surprised to see a PC port so quickly of Rayman Origins, I was expecting at least one year. Oh well...

The Vita game library is small as fuck, therefore I won't be purchasing one until it gets a good library. The psp grew a massive library. If anything I do think Sony makes some pretty stupid decisions at times, yet they seem to bring what I want, what others want. Sly 4 also looks awesome. I really hope they can improve the Vita library. Rayman Origins, Wipeout, and Uncharted seem like the only good games. Honestly I dislike the Kinect and move. The only microsoft exclusive I care about is Halo, I never got into Gears of war, or anything else they've had to offer. I'll admit, I did have shit tons of fun on fruit slice on the kinect with my friend, though I still feel as if the kinect and move are kind of boring in a way. I was never bothered by the PS controller, it has a nice grip for me, and I memorize shapes easier then letters I suppose. I guess it just varies in taste for gaming, playstation has served me well.
I am so glad I didn't go for an Xbox 360, it would be money thrown away. I was turned to the 360 to see if I would get the Kinect and the Rabbids game, but the reviews made me giving more joy to have bought a PS3 instead. Kinect is an interesting device but the tech needs a lot of improvement. Giving away 100€ for a peripheral I'm much more happier with a PS3 now, because of the games catalogue it has got now. I am considering buying some games more in PSN and few retail ones. What's funny is that I never liked PSP, but Vita looks much more interesting. Now the thing is... Vita's catalogue is still weak. The games you said are probably the only good ones for now.

I like the way you just decided that this was a trilogy with no evidence whatsoever.

I had to post this here because there's no official topic for Rayman 1 and the Rayman Games topic seems to be locked, I was playing Rayman on DSi ware today and apparently the developers put it in to where that when replaying levels and pressing the select button at anytime during a phase, it instantly skips that room and takes you to the next one, and you can keep doing it to skip the whole stage! I've been trying to complete Rayman 1 for two years, because I want to get all the cages without the assistance of a walkthrough, I think the games is the best best also hardest on PS1. :D

It's the sixth down the list on the Rayman forum page (currently, at least).

If this is Wii U exclusive and you can't play alone, who on earth can play it then?

I wonder why there isn't any clear info about that.

Games that are showed off at E3 are still full-on in development, right?

More sexy footage! Thanks!
Also I wonder what that "grannies world tour" option does.

Teensies in Trouble = medieval level
Grannies World Tour = Land of the Livid Dead remix level

These are the two levels that can be played in the demo.

Edit: It seems that the area we see at the beginning of this video is actually the tent with the magical paintings that lead to the levels. Turns out it doesn’t look much like the castle in Super Mario 64 after all.

Woah... If every level is gonna have it's own painting, let me tell you that there will be TONS of artwork to do in this game.

The levels shown in the demo were made to show off the unique features of the Wii U controller and will be changed to work for singleplayer in the final version.

TK, don't worry, remember when Rayman Origins was supposed to be a downloadable game in full HD exclusively for PS3 and Xbox 360?

A few people said it before, but the game manager said it also:

Michel Micholic: "We didn't say WiiU exclusive, we are looking at other options right now"

Aw yeah! There is hope yet. I wonder if they decide to make it Wii-U and 3DS Exclusive. That would be funny. :P
