The Disadventage of the Rayman 1 password system was that if you haven't broken all 6 Electoon Cages in a level, it isn't going to save the Electoon Data.
One other Disadvantage is that they don't save the Life Statues, that you collect throughout the levels.

It has multiple disadvantages, it won't save the cages in a level when you haven't broken all of them, life statues will just be there again when you load your password, powerups such as the gold fist, fast fist and upgraded health will be gone when you load your password and the amount of tings you collected won't be saved.

CHRdutch's answer is the most comprehensive so it's his point.
Question 24 - How did the Blue Fist change between Rayman Origins and Legends?

In Legend a Teensie gave it to you and in Origins you got it from a bubble and in Origins it didn't last forever like it did in Legends

Pretty much, The Blue Fist was a collectible power-up in some Origins levels, but you had limited uses. In Legends, you only get it in certain levels as a power-up from a Teensie Wizard, and you had unlimited use 'til level's end.
