Yes, Switch servers are not stable for months for everyone, it has been happening since last October.
Players think that something happened when Ubisoft tried to shut down the servers of some ports as they announced but this only resulted in shutting down other servers and after some days, when the servers got online again the Switch ones began to have issues and I highly doubt they'll ever fix this..

Yeah, looks like the author of the second video managed to bring it down from 53 to 50 or 49 (not sure why the recap says 52 to 49, the counts don't add up).

A lot of people have recommended this game to me recently, so maybe it will be a good solution

Another Rayman Origins game? We had one of those just a few months ago. What about the Rayman 4 we’ve been awaiting for the last decade?
I think it is only a matter of time, but to be honest I was predicting more a Rayman Origins 2 than the Rayman 4. If the Art Director hinted to see more UbiArt Framework capacities in E3, there were high chances of being a sequel of RO.

Now I wonder what they'll do this time!

I would Love a sequel to Rayman Legends. I'm just not sure what they could do to make a sequel as good as RL, everyting in RL was perfect.

According to the Rayman Legends community the PS3 servers have not been working for 2 days, they were supposed to be taken down last October but they never did.

No clue but by knowing Ubisoft I doubt it
It seems that the PS3 ones aren't the only ones that are having issues now, it is common that it randomly happens but they'll get fixed in a few days

I noticed the Steam version now has a 250 mo update out of nowhere... Has anyone downloaded it to know what it is for and if it isn't Lazysoft pulling another bad move? :hap:

I do not own the Steam version but hearing from who owns it it seems it only adds the installer for Ubisoft Connect in the game files

I've played Rayman Legends a few months ago and Ubisoft Connect seemed to already be in the files (I had to connect to my Ubisoft account to play)

Yeah, but previous versions had an older Uplay installer which then updated to Ubisoft Connect. The new Steam update adds a direct installer to Ubisoft Connect with the new "UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe" file (which takes up 250 mb). None of the actual game files have been modified in the update.

Cool, that should make things a little easier I guess :hap:

Of course, the logical thing to do would be remove the blasted stupidsoftconnect dependency from the Steam version that already has a bloody DRM on it, since now you can't even connect the game to the flipping Ubisoft servers anymore, ffffffffff...

The logical thing would be to remove all DRM altogether. I bet when they get tired of maintaining their legacy infrastructure, Ubi is going to provide a DRM-free version of Legends for PC, by pirating one of the cracks the hard-working pirates have created back in the day. That wouldn't be a first for them either. :oops2:

Did they do that with GOG Rayman 2?

Yeah and it's pretty funny, the exe of GOG Rayman 2 is identical to the cracked exe by Fairlight but they zeroed the Fairlight signature to remove it
