Hopefully this Tencent Switch version can be dumped someday so we can check it out for ourselves! Apparently this Tencent Switch system is quite closed off and it's very difficult to get these games because of it, let alone dump them.

It surprises me that they didn't censor the princesses

By the way, here's something mildly interesting I stumbled upon recently:

At some point, the developers of Rayman Legends tested out gameplay that involved the microphone on the Wii U Gamepad. It seems it was loudness based only, so think blowing into the microphone like on the DS.

In the final game code, there is still a "RO2_MicDetectorComponent" that inherits from ShapeDetectorComponent (which just checks if a player or some other object is inside a given shape) and adds different variables for validation that indicate you were supposed to stand in a certain area and speak/blow into the microphone for long enough and loud enough to pass a certain threshold. This would then cause something to trigger in the game. Considering it's prefixed with "RO2_", it was made especially for Rayman Legends. All code for this is gone on PC and other platforms (which of course lack the Wii U's microphone), but the variable names remain - that's how I found out about this. Perhaps it might still work on Wii U or in one of the demos, but it isn't so interesting that I'll check all that to find out.

wow! thats really interesting,it would be quite funny if there was a way to reimplement it,but either way,there must have been a good reason for it to not appear in the final game,and im not sure if that was a good or bad decision,but im going to hope it was a good one Lol

Why would they need to censor the princesses? There’s no nudity in them

I started a new game on my PS3 and I went to see the challenges which are obviously offline, and that did not delete the score from my old save

So you can’t actually EARN the diamond cup anymore?

I was never able to earn a diamond cup anyway.

Anyway, aren't the leaderboards closed? Would that still work?

They are still up on PS4/5, Xbox 1/S/X and Switch, and it did take me a minute to figure the glitch out personally

Yeah, normally when I do it it takes from 10-20 minutes

Which animation? I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary (although I haven't played Legends in years…)

Love this deep blue Globox, I wish he was in the game
