40+ ???

I have exactly 40 right now.

I have 15 opened on this computer I am on now, but I am not sure how many are opened on the office computer. Definitely more than this.

I always try to have a maximum of 2 or 3 tabs open, but that tends to turn into 10 or so.

I'll probably have a few tabs open, but I don't want to lost focus, so only a few.

I've never really used tabs for the Record Day, except to post some pre-made messages at the start.

I usually refresh my "View your posts" section to keep replying.

That will mostly depend on your RAM, you'll see it when your computer can't take it anymore.

My computer has terrible RAM. Only 4GB. It struggles to play new games and record them for Let's Play at the same time

I think I can open more 20 tabs without major lag, but my memory might be wrong.

why then don't you upgrade? RAMs aren't expensive! I got my Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz SO-DIMM for my laptop one for 30€ xD. (Total I have 20GB RAM on my 15" laptop xP)

Because I am afraid to open my computer since I never done it before. I could maybe damage something.

Why don't you go to the mechanic?

My PC has 2 GB and my tablet has 750 MB. Even if it seems little, it can open 16 tabs which i find way too many as i only have max 6-7 opened on both my tab and PC.

Well you're not going very far with 20 tabs, pre-posting only starts making a difference from about 100 tabs.

I noticed that Google Chrome can open maximum 137 tabs, My computer seems to handle it

I did last time too, but I also browsed the forums for some of the more interesting topics (BONK thread) that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. Also, the Portal RSS Feed.

My computer has 3.5 GB and does absolutely fine. Maybe you have a crappy processor.

Just remember to touch something metallic beforehand to decharge yourself, to ground yourself as it were. Then don't poke anything inside there with your screwdriver and avoid touching the chips on their 'working sides' if you can; just grab them by the edges. You'll be absolutely fine. Look up some guides if you're still unsure.

I never tried making pre-posts. The slight exception being the Anti-British thread which I pre-made right at the start of that Record day.

While I could try it, but that's certainly a lot of topics to post and revive.

I never tried pre-posting neither, though i never even thought of it before. But OMG, 100 tabs?!
