spiraldoor wrote:Thank for this, it's really gratifying to see Rayman music performed by real musicians! The only thing I'm not sure about is using the saxophone as the lead instrument, which would be appropriate for some tracks, but gives these three a very different feel – the original soundtrack was very much dominated by the synthesised strings.
Interested remark

But as I said before, the band is not complete yet, I plan to incorporate a cello, and perhaps a symphonic orchestra

Thank's for your comment.

Hi, Mr. Gazel!
I'm a big Rayman fan, but an even bigger fan of the music in the series. Seeing your list of the songs you wrote for the game, it looks like you've been responsible for some of my favourite pieces of music of all time. The Skops battle theme, the Crystal Palace, but especially the Mr. Dark theme are class-A smash-hits - or at least they should be - and I'm thrilled to see them being played by real musicians. I've been watching your videos on YouTube too, and I was always hoping to find a live performance of something Rayman in there.
I hope to see you find the violists you're looking for - it would be fantastic to hear the pieces performed by a full orchestral crew! Wow!
Thank you for all of your music and continue being awesome!

Rémi, be careful. Don’t double post. Use ‘edit’ if you would like to add things to a post.

Fifo, you shouldn't be mini-modding. Especially because it isn't supposed to be spam. The double-posting rule was intended mainly for spammers.

Double posting means, you make 2 comments without anyone else posts between. Though it is more common to reply to more than 1 people in the same post, it is not a problem.

Fifo's referring to the idea of keeping everything in one post instead of making multiple consecutive ones, like what was done about 45 minutes ago. No worries though! It just helps keep the forum organised.

I'm not sure to understand, as my 2 comments was 2 differents subjects...
The rules are not very clear to me yet

If you make 2 posts if no one else comments between, it is still double-posting, even if the subjects are different.
It's not necessary to modify the subject, because if someone posts next, the subject will be changed back to the original one. You can still edit it if you like though.
Anyways, I'm waiting for the news about the project!

That is ok, but this question has already been brought up earlier, and I thought it won't be again.

Don't worry about it though. Fifo's been told not to backseat-moderate many times before, as it isn't his business.
As for the video, I unfortunately can't view it from Canada. Is it uploaded anywhere else? I'm eager to see!

I’m really sorry for backseat-moderating, but I hate when forums get cluttered due to double posting. It’s really hard to read!

It's interesting, because others don't have any problem reading them. Even mods didn't point out the double-posting rule in this topic, because it's not for that purpose to make it easier to read ( which in fact isn't hard to read at all ), but to avoid spamming. Yet you did.
I can understand that for you it is "really hard to read", but you can't do anything.
