@Rayfan: Billy was at the last MCM expo in London back in May this year and bless his soul he didn't think the English version was released in any form until I told him. Then I came back with a Stimpy figure to be signed for my boyfriend and he threw in a buttcrack out of nowhere.
The photo of my signed DVD is around somewhere, ah it's in this thread:

It's not the Rabbids that killed Rayman, but all games that involved them. He turned from an, although a bit changed, hero to some wackjob wearing all kinds of outfits that are quite funny, ok, but not great, neither Rayman in any way. The whole point of Rayman was lost.
And yes I'm hungrythirsty for Rabbids to go back home and stay there.

No, really, I like the Rabbids' series - I had a minigamecollection of them on my DS - but I don't like them as a
Rayman series, simply because they don't fit the type of enemies Rayman dealt with
at all. Where in the Rayman universe did the transition go from mystical or horrific metal or magical beings to terrestial rodents (sorry for you bunnylovers but I'm in a heat now) that have a serious psychotic disorder?
Anyway - you all seem to have had it up till here with my Rabbidocidic urges so I'll take it elsewhere.

Discuss the 4 episode Rayman t.v show! I really enjoyed it! I don't have a favorite since ALL of them are my favorites!

I'm assuming a mod merged topics?
Well, I can't say much on the series, besides the fact that it is obviously not canon.
But it did have some good moments, and it was nice to see the helicopter in episode 2.

I will say, it is a very strange series. I do think that Billy West has the perfect voice for Rayman, but what the heck is with that accent?

Funny, I had that dream too. o.o It was epic.
BarkingChaos wrote:I do think that Billy West has the perfect voice for Rayman, but what the heck is with that accent?
Apparently it was a case of Billy West having no idea who Rayman was and subsequently no idea what he was doing
Also moddies, can we sticky this? I wouldn't normally ask again, it's just that ten other people and me* think it should, which has to count for something. Not to mention we don't want another newbie making the sane mistake as RG o-o

Hahah. I like it though, it's almost, you could say, the "Raymanian" accent.

I can't believe I never posted a link to this here:

I still find the possibility that Cookie was possibly once a Rayman 1 character highly interesting!
And yes, this thread should be sticky-ed. The Rayman Animated Series is an important part of the franchise, and this thread is always near the top of the list with the stickies anyway.

When I saw that it'd been stickied I literally sat there saying "oh my god" for about 5 consecuative minutes.
STACEY THANK YOU <3
Also being that Electoon has her own thread for Ray1!Cookie I'd like to raise something unimportant but slightly cool.
Okay a few months ago while browsing Wikipedia like a total tard I noticed something:
Daniel "Danny" Mann is an American voice actor, writer, singer, musician, and production manager.
Carlos Jaime Alazraqui (born July 20, 1962) is an American actor, comedian, impressionist, voice actor and singer.
William Richard "Billy" West (born April 16, 1950) is an American voice actor. [...] West is also a guitarist and singer-songwriter with a band called Billy West and The Grief Counselors.
And while being a musician doesn't necessarily entail singing I'll stick this here anyway:
Lacey Nicole Chabert (born September 30, 1982) is an American actress, musician, and voice actress,
...What i want to know is, was this a coincidence, or was it leading up to something? like a musical (or even singing themed) episode or something? I did mention this to my brother but apparently singers make better voice actors (as evidenced by Tia Carrere's role in
Duck Dodgers) so I'm not certain that this is anything important.
Still cool, though.

That is completely true. After I started singing, my voice acting got a hundred times better than it was before, and before it was really bad. Why is this? Singing teaches you how to project, use proper diaphragm and lung support, and it teaches you learn to be much more free with your voice, since singing obviously makes you utilize your range... unless you're a very conservative singer.
