There were 26 predicted episodes to be released, but sadly they canceled the series after the 4th episode. There are scraps of the 5th, but very little is known.
I think these series had potential, this could bring other interesting non-canonic information. Maybe Rayman could also use more the powers?

I thought something like that was the case. Too bad we never got to see any of that storyline with Rigatoni develop.

Why did that Rayman show get cancelled?
Also, weren't there only going to be 13 episodes? Do we have a source on this?

It keeps happening.
Is MSPaint Adventures a cartoon? Whatever, I'm going to talk about it regardless.
Cartoons are definitely my favourite thing ever. Even if they were appropriate for children, they can still have the charm in them. Especially the ones that have great writers and animators behind them. The goal of my lifetime is to work on TV animation studios and get my own successful cartoon series to the TV, but of course I'm not gonna rush with that one.
My favourite of the old ones is definitely Invader Zim. At first I judged it only because of the half-assed fandom, but then after looking at one episode, it was just the perfect thing to watch for me. It had the balls to put some pretty damn dark stuff in it, despite originally being targeted for 10-year olds, and that's what I like. There's lots of hilarious moments, which are usually pretty simple, but still so enjoyable. And most of all, the art style is unique and similar to mine to some degree. It would be awesome if this show came back, but I'm not batshit insane about making it happen, because I tell ya, many fans are.
From the current ones, I like Adventure Time the most. Some episodes may feel a little too oddball and trippy to some, but the later episodes are tamer, more mature and have some great depth, especially the backstory of the Ice King and Marceline (Not gonna put any spoilers here). Adventure Time has probably the best animation at this moment and also very good writing. I also like Regular Show and the new Looney Tunes Show.

I was a huge cartoon fan, I can hardly remember all cartoons I watched, but here is a short list of what I think was best (and what I remember)
Samurai Jack, Ed, Edd, & Eddy, Dexter's Laboratory, Looney Tunes, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Angry Beavers, Spongebob, CatDog, Danny Phantom, TMNT 2003 and Batman The Animated series.
Also I'm wondering if anyone else remember this show, It's one of my favorites from Disney.

My favourite cartoon from all time has got to be, hands down, the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. So much depth, so much humour and such excellent animation - I've never seen anything rival it yet. I haven't seen the Legend of Korra series yet, but I'm sure it'll live up to its predecessor, if it's by the same people.
For the rest, I really enjoyed (and here comes a list of many things ):
Danny Phantom; Tom & Jerry; Looney Tunes; Merry Melodies; Mickey Mouse; Jimmy Neutron; The X's; Skyland (really excellent, that one); Fairly Odd Parents; Invader Zim; Spongebob; El Tigre (with a big lol-factor); Get Ed and finally Scooby Doo.
There's probably many more, but that's probably my main list right there. There was also this one show about a tiny sultan who always wanted more things than he could get and there were shows like Flint the Timeagent which I used to watch a lot when I was a kid... but only fragments of memory help me remember those.
Oh and then there's Disney cartoon feature films, but that's a whole other story.

I can't remember all of the cartoons I watched as a kid, though the ones that stick out to me are Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, Spiderman TAS, Batman TAS, Transformers (my favourite incarnations of the Transformers cartoons are Animated, Prime and Beast Wars), TMNT (2003), Spongebob.
I have and still do watch more recent cartoons as well, like The Penguins of Madagascar, Adventure Time, Transformers: Prime, TMNT (2012) and Regular Show, to name a few.

Ah man, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog, I miss those shows. They really don't make them like they used to, nowadays the cartoons are all just garbage, no offense to anyone that actually watches them here.

laskghjsklfhsdklfhsdafkl YOU'RE OFFICIALLY AWESOME. All those shows you have mentioned (ESPECIALLY Darkwing Duck), I know and love every single one of them. Kudos to you.
Anybody remember Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends? I honestly still love that show and find it on YouTube on some random days just for random pleasure when I have nothing else to do. It's worth airing on Cartoon Network again.

Awesome! I watched a few episodes a long time ago of Darkwing Duck (in France it's called Myster Mask. in my opinion it's a shame, Darkwing Duck is way cooler than Myster Mask..). I found the openning really good! The French one is quite the same, although it's sung by a girl. I didn't pay a close attention to the English lyrics, so I don't know if there is the same part but a funny part in the French one, is when Darkwing Duck himself says "Cette chanson craint un max!" during the openning (which means "this song really sucks!").
I also love all the references that appear in the show. In France, we had a few more references than the original cartoon with the names during the translation, for example in the French translation Launchpad McQuack is called Flagada Jones, an obvious reference to Indiana Jones. "Flagada" represents something slack, loose, or slow (the Pokémon Slowbro is called Flagadoss in French).

I could talk on this for quite a long time, most of my younger years were nothing but watching cartoons. I was raised on the older Hanna Barbera stuff and Danger Mouse (Through which I found Count Duckula, which is also quite nicely done), and grew up with most of the earlier Cartoon Network shows, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel and Evil Con Carne in particular are ones which spring to mind. I later found out about Spongebob Squarepants and became like, a motherfucking junkie on the show for at least 2 years, it was literally the only thing I watched in that period of time.
And then after I grew out of that I was becoming less and less into TV, and more into Videogames. Though I do occasionally come across some shows that I missed in the earlier years of my childhood. I rediscovered Xiaolin Showdown, which I found to be quite good, and despite my Mum putting me off the franchise as a whole, I got fixated on doing nothing but watching the complete Transformers Animated for a while, great show, and Megatron's like a complete badass in that one too. Out of nowhere I discovered My Life as a Teenage Robot, and I love the art style to it. It's also pretty funny on its own as a show, too. I found out about Invader Zim last year and fell in love with it, it's now my favourite show of all time (No, really), and around a month ago I watched all of the Teen Titans in order. All I can say is that Slade is an amazing villain.
I also recently got the complete 90's Spiderman series, because I liked it when I was younger goddamnit.
I think that's about it, apologies for this here wall of text.

GN's babbling about new cartoons, go!
I've checked out a fairly new British cartoon airing on Disney XD called Dude That's My Ghost! after I saw a fandom rising. Now this show has gained following mostly for the character Billy and whenever he appears, the show feels totally different. Seriously, I bet the people working on this put all their budget on the writing and animation on Billy. I thought the other characters were as interesting as cardboard cutouts, but then this one character is just really amusing topped with the facial expressions and body language he does. Though I watched only a few episodes, so I don't know if things have changed in the later episodes, but mostly the show is just a fun little thing to watch when there's nothing else. It doesn't have depth or background almost at all, which can be fine at first, but I do want to have more of that. Hm, we'll see.
Also, a new preview of the upcoming Nickelodeon show Sanjay and Craig has just arrived. It seems to look nice enough to be worth watching with the animation and voice talent. But I fear that it might be an Adventure Time / Regular Show wannabe, since it's been described to be surreal humor, just like the two CN shows. And the art style is also very similar to Regular Show and it's about two best friends. So yeah, for the creators; surprise me and be sure not to make it too similar!
I've been also excited for Wander over Yonder coming to Disney Channel. Not much is known about it, but it comes from Craig McCracken, the creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, so I have my hopes up. The main characters Wander and Sylvia will likely be absolutely entertaining and the overall atmosphere looks promising.
But probably the biggest one: Steven Universe! Coming to CN from Rebecca Sugar, who formerly worked on Adventure Time. I'm fairly sure this will be as successful as Adventure Time. Many fans of that show are hyped for this.
Ah, writing about this just feels refreshing for some reason.

Indeed! I think today's animators should be given a little more time to make the cartoon look really fluid. But I'm satisfied with the excellent, but not really movie quality, animation of today's big budget cartoons.
