Yeah, I've still been using Chrome, but I also have FireFox and Brave installed as well.

I use Microsoft Edge for the rewards points system to get free Robux cards. And other game cards sometimes. It does take a lot longer to get vs yeeting 20 bucks for one...But it's a nice little system for me!

I've used Chrome for years, but recently I've changed to Edge and I gotta say I'm more than happy about the decision. I'm not sure why, but Chrome was crashing constantly when I was on YouTube. I've tried different solutions (removing adblockers, deleting cookies and cache, etc.), but none of them worked. That's when I decided to move to Edge, and it's not only faster than Chrome on Windows 11, but also has more customization options and both the %cpu and %memory used is minimal. I thought Edge was Internet Explorer 2.0, but it isn't!

apparently 28 million out of 4.66 billion people still use IE, which is only 0.6%, so the stats here check out

Well the topic's been around for 13 years so that's how long I assume this poll's been around.

I still understand that some people need Internet Explorer. For example, when I needed to get a new ID card, there was no way to get a prior appointment on the Internet but using Internet Explorer, as the webpage that the police uses for that only works with IE

I can't believe that several years after Microsoft itself dumped IE, there are still pages that work only with that.

The problem is the philosophy of "if it works, then leave it". The problem is that it doesn't work and you have to adapt to it. It happens not only at that police webpage, but also, for example, when you need a new digital certificate to sign documents. It's a mess :fou:

Nope, it was reset in 2017 or so. Note that Microsoft Edge is an option, which didn't exist 13 years ago!

Was there anyone here who actually liked Internet Explorer? It was always a meme that you only use it to download another browser and then never open it again.
