I barely played Spyro, I admit, though Insomniac have done well with Ratchet and Clank as his successor.

Nothing after PS1 era is worth playing that much if you are not hardcore Spyro fan. I would not call myself hardcore Spyro fan but I did try all of his games (except for GBA ones, well I played Spyro Orange and that one sucked. Haven't played previous ones for GBA). Some people say Hero's Tail is good and yeah, it is ok for me but not good as PS1 titles. Insomniac did good job trying something new and moving to Ratchet. They did say Spyro's actions are limited because he cannot hold weapon. I wish Spyro just ended after PS1 trilogy for good and that it recieved HD Collection for PS3 later, and not have game until Spyro 4 for PS4.

Meh, I think Spyro might have benefited from the Legend reboot personally, unlike Titans, it made clear that it was going to be a new universe and its own thing, and I don't mind that, as it meant I didn't have to expect something that would be akin to how the usual Spyro formula is.

The first 3 GBA titles were actually pretty good. The first one suffered from some horrid level design issues, mainly as a result of the isometric view. Thankfully, both Season Of Flame and Attack Of The Rhynocs greatly improved on the format and were pretty fun overall!

Really? Cool, as long as they are not like Spyro Orange, I will try 'em out. Shame Spyro Orange is only Spyro crossover game.

Only problem with Attack of the Rhynocs is that it's basically "Fetch Quest: The Game", which makes it pretty tedious at times. I couldn't really get into it.

Ouch, not a fan of those kind of games where you have to collect all the time.

Just ended up playing Into The Nexus some more, and I must say the humor is quite amusing with the Thugs. Hehe

Ah yes, Thugs-4-Less have returned from Going Commando.

So they originally were in that game, huh?

I believe so.
Also got a chance to try it out for myself, it certainly is as Insomniac described it, smaller than CiT but bigger the QfB, it's a bit of a pity too, I'd have liked one wholler title to end the PS3 era with, but Nexus is pretty good regardless.

Well, well, well.
There's a R&C mobile app game:

This was pretty much out of the blue.

Isn't that interesting? I may look into that, but I fear the controls may be a pain.

I have a question for the veterans of the franchise. Are there "bad" games or "not so recommendable" titles?

I stopped playing when the Future series came out. Gladiator was the last good game in my opinion.

Isn't Gladiator a Spin-Off?

Ratchet And Clank Size Matters for PSP (later ported to PS2) is horrible game.
Secret Agent Clank is also said to be bad but I did not play that one.

Future series is some of the best ones.

People generally agree that All-4-One is pretty bad. Personally I wouldn't recommend Quest for Booty either, as it does some weird adventure-game stuff, which feels out of place in such a combat oriented game.
As for good ones, you absolutely can't go wrong with the original trilogy, and Nexus is great too. Tools and Crack I haven't played, but those are considered very good too.

I think All-4-One is good game personally.

Never played it myself, I'm just going by popular opinion.
