Funny thing about mustard.
Some months ago I was in a Starbucks that my niece dragged us all into and I tried a bit of my mum's cheese toastie which was pretty good. I said something like "ooh it's got mustard on it" and my niece was all eeeeeew ick mustard, but she liked the toastie as well so lol it was so cartoon stereotype dislike but actually like the food.

Well I can tell you all what I don't like: preserved mustard strips. Every time I have them with a dish with spice, i get this weird feeling in my mouth that I just don't like.

Mind you, when I say mustard in a Starbucks cheese toastie, they tend to put a mild American one in and I quite like American more than English, American is often milder and sweeter. The mustard in IKEA is ok too and good on their hot dogs but I can't say that's like either American or English.

Probably Heinz English style that they have in wetherspoon, that one is ok but I always get mayonnaise whenever I eat in those.

See, this topic should have included mayonnaise. People underestimate the power!

This topic should’ve just been “what is the best dip”

Mayonnaise is great. Specially in the Olivier salad!

Mayo works in a lot of things. I spread it on bread when making grilled cheese instead of butter (which i use for frying instead)
