Wasn't 2024 bandied around for both of those events? :P Although eradication of the virus is most likely impossible, which I think is what you were really trying to say :hap:

Ah so 2 years then? Well hopefully the game's progress will be revealed then! As for the virus, well...you know I expected that

COVID cannot be eradicated, but the DomZ can. :P

I'm still interested in BG&E2 and I think it will still be re-revealed eventually, but sadly I have a feeling it will not be very good...

I think Ubisoft's attempt at creating a successful franchise out of BG&E by putting the story aspect in the background will end up killing it instead.
Recently I saw these videos from BG&E2-1 (the 2008 version), and it looked so good... I'm super into that journalistic bullet time idea.

Yeah, that's basically what I'm thinking too. :(

Another one for my collection maybe?

I'm not sure if the DomZ can be eradicated. I always felt like those infections could remain latent and pop back up again. I found it strange that people have no problem touching pearls that just minutes previously were covered in this grotesque parasite, without even disinfecting them!

Oddly enough, Jade keeps on collecting all those pearls during the game, but in the end, it is Pey'j who gets infected!

That's true actually! Still, I'm sure he's touched plenty of them in his time… :mefiant:

I still need to play the first one, so I don't mind the delays. :P

Perhaps she gives them all to Pey'j for safekeeping? Who knows where she keeps the pearls after she obtains them....

They're stored in her digital hammerspace, right? You can see her "digitize" one into the little thing on her belt…

Well it was a nice theory I had while it lasted! :oops2:
Maybe I'll play BG&E again, since I haven't played since 2 years ago.

Everytime I hear the word "hammerspace" i think of Amy's hammer (from the Sonic universe)

I think I must have played it last December, but before that I hadn't in a long time. I don't know what it is, I played the heck out of it for the first half of 2017, but that just ruined it for me since I now know where everything is and the adventure is gone

Also, I guess that's the origin of the term "hammerspace"? I'm not sure…

I don't know if someone noticed before, but in one of the videos that were made about that Beyond Good and Evil 2 Community Collaboration, there was an artwork of a cage that is very similar to the ones from Rayman 2. I wonder if this will make it into the final "assets" that will be delivered.

This was shared on the Discord server earlier, and I might as well share it here too.

I guess the game's not dead after all?

So what about Beyond Good & Evil 2? Is it happening? Is it going to be terrible as many modern games are?

External playtesting? I guess that's a positive development…

Well, it was announced in 2017, and 2024 has been bandied around as a release date… So if we double that… 2031? :hap:

I guess we got more one more year to go for that rumored date then huh? Kinda curious but also dread whenever it comes out.

I'm pretty sure it's still in development hell, I'd be very doubtful that it'll actually appear next year… But then who knows, maybe they're doing a Half-Life Alyx on it! :hap: But I agree, I don't know if it's the kind of game I'll enjoy…
