No it couldn’t. It was confirmed that André and André’s girlfriend would be in the game. Five years ago. I thought everyone knew this by now.

Yes, that’s right. You can’t. It would turn into some sort of silly soap opera. Ancel said that Rayman would have to free his old enemy and his old enemy’s girlfriend – not his old enemies and his old enemies’ girlfriends.

You know, I like silly things. But to each their own here.

In case of my subtitle for R4, I would like something less like "Enemy thing" and more like "Adventure Type Thing", as in R2. "Rayman 4: The Wonderful Race" is not perfect, but would do the job. Please note that race doesn't mean M2 automatically, it could be for example Rayman and Bad Guys racing for some powerful artefacts.

Actually back in 06 when I received the original Nintendo Power article, the original name was "Rayman Rabbid Rabbits."

You know, I doubt that Rayman 4 will ever be made. If it were to be made, then the newcomers from the last 7 years would be confused, as they might not have ever played the games. Also, a series should not have such a large time between two games.

I wonder what Ubi will come up with. They once said at E3 2010 that they will go back to making Rayman 3D games after Origins.

The newcomers would have to be pretty stupid to be confused by the presence of the number ‘4’ in the title of a self-contained game. Even if they had not played the previous games, they would immediately recognise that Rayman 4 is a sequel. These games are not story-dependant. You do not need to have played all of the previous instalments in order to enjoy and understand the latest one.

Unless Ubi would make Rayman RPG dependent on such stuff like differences between version of R1. That would be horribly hard.
