Now that you say it like that, you have a point. Imagine if they spent tons of money on big third party characters and game failed still? I don't know if Crash would boost sales that much. Game still had other issues.

The fact that a game about PlayStation characters that goes as far as putting the console name in the title includes non-exclusive characters is dumb.

Also, E3. Excited for it. Can't wait to see Super Smash Bros.

Well Dante and Raiden were pretty much heavily associated with playstation before their games appeared on Xbox too, same with Hehachi, as Tekken 1-5 as well as tag tournament were all ps exlcusive. The only one which felt out of place in terms of thrid party was Big Daddy but the developers requested for him to be put in, also Issac Clark when he was added as DLC, which was a horrible choice. Really the only other third party characters the game REALLY needed were Crash and Spyro as their classic forms were 1st Party and Cloud Strife for being the Final fantasy PlayStation icon. There was no need for Big Daddy or Issac Clark, and Dante should have had his classic look for when he was exclusive to Ps2, but Capcom obviously wanted to promote DMC. The playstation brand since the ps1 has always been strongly associated with third party, much more so than Nintendo has been for the past few generations, so adding certain third party characters is arguably very relevant for a PlayStation allstars game as opposed to smash bros, however the opportunity was used as pretty much a marketing and advertisement scheme for publishers upcoming games.

I agree. And also they put Zeus??? Nobody wanted him at all. Not using Classic Dante was pretty stupid too. His new look is terrible. He even said once in the game when classic styled wig fell on him "Not in the Million Years" which was basically a huge F*** you from Capcom to classic fans.

I believe so, or at least it'll show up on Ninty Direct, if my memory serves correctly.

The first truly portable Smash Bro's, this'll be interesting indeed.

That would be pretty cool to be able to play with your friends or family on the go even.

Indeed, the 3DS seems to be the most lucrative of all the next gen stuffs I've seen so far, let's see if E3 either strengthens this interest, or if something else decides to take my fancy.

The cartoonish game with parkour seemed interesting... until it became another generic shooter with undead creatures. Seriously, what a boring presentation. I guess it appeals to some graphic-suckers, but that's it...


Also, I won a bet, there was no Banjo-Kazooie game announced. Now my friend has to use an avatar of the Carebears for the rest of the month.

Dead Rising... DEAD FUCKING RISING. I loved the second game, and the third one is now being XBOX ONE EXCLUSIVE. WHY!? Thank Capcom... really irritated now.

Capcom is a very weird gaming entity, no? Sometimes it sounds like they feed off the hurt and aggravation of their fans, like sadists.

I loved DR2, really annoyed at Capcom right now Especially since I was excited for 3, thanks a lot Capcom.
