- Haven't gotten around to working on Earth/Space science and English classes. But will do an assessment or two before the end of the day. Course, depends on whether or not I'm tired in a few hours.

They are just trying to recommend what's best for you. That's their job as a parent.

I think that's a little overzealous. While it's true that they may be overbearing, I don't think there's any malice in their actions. Splitting with one's parent over something as trivial as bedtimes is overdoing it.

+ Made Quickles (Quick pickles) for my husband as well as iced double brewed coffee as a surprise, and he loved it!
+ Going to the beach tomorrow for the first time in a couple years

- The county I live in has been in a tornado watch for almost 5 hours, but there hasn't even been a thunderstorm at my house.
+ The watch will end as soon as an hour and a half.

-Coincidentally couldn't go to the beach as a result of a tornado watch, and it wasn't even that terrible either

To be fair to weather folk, weather can be somewhat unpredictable. Better to give warning than risk lives, if they have sufficient reason to believe it possible.
- Right, feeling a little knackered, this doesn't bode well.
