Congrats, man! :)

< has a problem which doesn't let < play Rayman Legends. Uplay got an update and now it requires < to login but unfortunately < can't at the moment since first of all, < doesn't know the password, and secondly, < doesn't want to hack <'s dance teacher's account because <'s not that type of person to do that, so < has to wait until the first dance class so that < can ask the password which means that < will only be able to play it next weekend. :(

So you use your dance teacher's account to play Rayman Legends? Is that wise, < wonders?

< picked the game up on Uplay for less than 5 euro one day. < thinks it was worth it :)

< owns Legends on every platform except for Wii U. Same for Origins except Wii :P

< thinks that's cool that ^ is doing that, it reminds < of years ago when we all had the DS Lite consoles and <'s brother, sister and < used to all play the minigames in Mario. < and <'s brother used to also sit up half of the night playing 2 player on Mario Party DS when we were both supposed to be in bed for school the next day. Our mother always wondered why we wouldn't get out of bed

Ah memories :hap:

< even remembers one Christmas we all just thought we were great. < along with <'s brother and sister and a couple of <'s cousins all thought it was amazing using pictochat to each other, ah 2006 :P

^ and ^^ are also reminding < of all the times < used to have fun playing Mario games with <'s sister and <'s cousin. We always had so much fun back then, even if < didn't win. Of course, at some point in time, < thinks it was around that time < started developing that dark competitive side that ^ witnessed since < used to hate to lose, though it didn't stop us from playing. Over the years though, < and them kinda started playing together less and less, as they started getting more into JRPGs and more obscure titles in that area of gaming, while < stayed a Nintendo boy while mostly still having Rayman in the back of <'s mind, at least until < hit Uni, which is when < expanded <'s gaming mindset to other genres and stuff like that. < thinks that through <'s experiences and being on here, < has grown to try and like other games too, such as BG&E.

Those memories back then though....to <, they're both a bundle of joy and also a bittersweet memory, since < misses those times, and they don't really play much with < anymore, and even though now < prefers to play by <self, at rare times it makes < lonely since when < wants to play with them, they usually don't want to and < ends up stuck with nobody to play with. < has always been a loner anyways though, so those feelings don't really stay with < for long. As long as < has a videogame that < likes to play, < will always be happy inside, even when < is being emotional and all that other shit < has to deal with sometimes.

< has never been overly competitive about stuff but losing to dirty tactics or cheaters always annoyed < and that has clearly showed in the last month :P

< will play a game like that for fun with people and if < loses then < doesn't care because it was fun playing. Games like Fortnite (< doesn't play that anymore) are overly competitive ones and are more about winning than fun so < doesn't play it. < will not play a game if < isn't enjoying playing it since the whole point of video games are for enjoyment.

< would love if people would actually play those DS games on multiplayer with < again, but in reality < is much older than < once was. If < was to fix <'s sisters DS then maybe she'd play it again one day for old times sake

But yeah < doesn't see the point of being overly competitive about anything, whether if be a game or a contest for fun, < just wants to participate and have fun (which < couldn't when there was cheating and tactics going on). As long as it's not being played for money, < has no idea why anyone would get overly competitive about what is supposed to be a bit of fun. If < loses something and the winner won fair and square then < had fun and congratulates the winner, on the other hand if they were to use tactics and cheat, then < isn't very happy about it because that wasn't a very nice thing to do and ruins all of the fun.

Cheaters never win, winners never cheat :proud:

And that is a huge part of why < ranted last week, though <'s frustrations were fuelled by other things too. < hopes everyone understands that from <'s point of view :)

< definitely understands how ^ feels, and < thinks it's because of ^ that < is finally trying to actually rid <self of that dark competitive side of <. So thanks. :)

To be perfectly honest, since < finished those videos < has actually been taking a break from Rayman 3 too. < has been playing that game for over a month or two now and it was mostly because < kept screwing up <'s saves and forgetting to store them somewhere else. In fact < did a similar thing with <'s Super Mario Galaxy save on <'s real Wii last week. Stupid <!

Ah well, < is managing to catch up on where < was last since < has gotten really great to the point where < doesn't lose as many lives anymore.

< would love to have Super Mario Sunshine right now and play it. On the Wii might be the best bet if < wants low input lag and progressive video output. < could use dolphin with HD textures but meh < is a hardware guy as < has said so many times :P

< knows some people enjoy being competitive, though < has one friend in particular who always seems to let it get in the way of having a good time. <'s never been particularly competitive unless it's with <'s self, probably why < loves rhythm games so much.

< used to be a lot like that. Though it's because < lets it get in the way (even when <'s not gaming) that < has been in some real sticky wickets much like < being the main subject of ^^'s rant last week.

Hmmm.....< suddenly feels the need to test out <'s old scratched discs. Since < got <'s new Wii, < hasn't tried out all the games that < has, even the copies of games < owns. Of course, < hopes sometime < can get <'s old Wii fixed but in the meantime < will just have to settle for making new Wii save files on <'s 2nd Wii.

< is like that too where < would think "come on you're better than this" if it was a game to <'s self. < also loves rhythm games :P

< has seen it many times where competition is fun, though there's a limit to how competitive one should be. < can be a bit competitive too depending on the circumstances, but < will usually prioritise having fun over winning. What < means is sure, < will try to win as anyone else would, but < will play fair and lose rather than get dirty and win. < knows there's no morale sense of achievement present after using tactics etc. but that you feel so proud of yourself for a fair win at something :hap:

< is back from another messy round of Mario Kart 7 Local multiplayer with <'s cousins.
Right now this is the time for them to depart from here so < guesses That's it then. It was really fun doing this stuff, < admits.

To think that they were picking and spamming the same track over and over again(which kept getting chosen by the game) until they get their way of winning on that particular track Since the first time < had beaten them and every time it gets picked again < beats them the same way again. Hilarious...

< is suffering from a slight headache. It should Go away soon, Hopefully.
< Thinks < needs something to drink.

If only <'s 3DS was working...< would like to see how < stacks up against ^ sometime in Mario Kart 7. :D

< is only 6-7 power stars away from Bowser's third and final galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. < hopes < can finish before <'s mom comes home.

Someone hold ^ back before things get rowdy

< just realised how Rayman 3 HD is actually glitchy enough to allow access to menus one shouldn't be seeing including the score code. Due to how glitchy the game is, < doubts you'd actually be allowed to use the code, not that anyone would want to play this version over the original anyway

< finished SMG for the first time since < got <'s new Wii, so < is feeling awesome right now. And yes, < did it legitimately :D
It does feel good to do things the old-fashioned way instead of cheating. Not that < ever had a way of cheating in this game.
< feels like playing Mario Kart Double Dash/Mario Kart Wii again tomorrow, < is having a lot of fun with them again like < used to when < first got them.

< needs Double Dash. Even the mention of it has the music in <'s head where you select the characters.

< would like to start playing Phantasy Star Online again despite it being old. < always loved that game :)

< wonders if NTSC games work on PAL Wiis/Gamecubes.....probably not. :?

< has returned to playing Super Mario Sunshine after finishing Super Mario Galaxy (not 100% yet, <'ll get there later). < still finds it amazing how < got from 25 power stars to 62 in 8 hours, even though < hasn't played in months. If only < was this good at finding blue coins in that game.

They do if they're modified. Modifying a Wii is as easy as using an SD card with some files on is and following a step by step guide. < thinks a Wii is literally the easiest console to mod ever :P
