Tfw your VM is just broken

tfw you have to play a game with your face leaning in to the computer

As someone who's pushed their luck when it comes to leaning their face into the screen, I'd say be mindful of a stiff neck...it's not pleasant.

TFW you forget to take the bins out again...

tfw you cannot located a specific 2GB compact flash card that was supposed to have been put in your 486DX4 system, because apparently you made a backup at some point, only to not know where the card itself has gone.

tfw you realized you weren't actually using the rear CF slot on the chassis, and the CF card was installed internally the whole time, despite searching all over the place for a card that wasn't lost.........

tfw you haven't had energy for days in a row and have felt "off".

I hope you can get out of that funk. It's fine to have one off day, not so much if there are multiple days in a row.

tfw you forget to document something and now you forget how to fix a game so an intro video plays.

TFW you decide to abandon a methodical approach to a collectathon game and change tactic to sprinting to the final boss...

Which is to say, I've finished the main story of Galaxy 2...at 95 stars. I finished Galaxy 1 at 65 stars. I've got some thoughts which I'll disseminate in the relevant thread, but for now I'm glad to have final re-experienced Galaxy 2. I'm going to try for all 242 stars at some point but I'm also hoping to start a Metroid Prime marathon soon in preparation for Prime 4.

I also still haven't done my annual Rayman 3 replay of the year

tfw you stop halfway through Rayman 3 to work on something else

Tfw you get sufficiently bored that you start using your phone as a microscope (or as close to one as you can at maximum zoom) to look at your dry skin.

tfw you have dry skin in the first place (always happens here, especially at this time of year ).

tfw you're applying SPF to your face in the car, and doing it blindly because you don't have a mirror and refuse on principle to put your phone in selfie mode

What makes this funnier is that cars have mirrors, though they're aimed at the road instead of your face I suppose, and the rear view one is far too small.

Well yeah, I was in the middle back seat, so looking in the rear view mirror would have given me a view of Dad's face instead of my own

tfw your Sunday isn't very productive due to a rough start of the day, but oh well, the headache's long gone at least!
