I'm more relieved to know it won't be just for Wii U. It will be enough saying they'll release it for PS3 and I'll start saving for the version.

I heard it requires deleting system32.

Yes. You more commonly find this folder in the location of your main drive in a folder named 'WINDOWS', eg. C:\WINDOWS\system32\

System32 is such an unnecessary folder. I deleted mine last month, and it’s greatly increased my productivity.

Okay, I know that getting all happy because of stuff like this makes me a horrible fanboy, but I find that it's really hard to resist being a smug asshole towards all the Mario fans these days. It would be so much easier if Mario was still as exciting as it was when the first Galaxy was released, but looking at NSMBU compared to Legends, it makes me tell myself that being a stubborn fan is the right thing to do, simply because it technically makes me a winner in the end.

It's rare that I feel like this, but hardly surprising that I do so here. Man, has Mario gotten boring!

DAAAMN, I was going to share that link too XD I mean, it's true, Mario is getting boring lately, and his 2d games are getting repetitive! Even Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon looks more promising than NSMBU. Is good to know that Rayman is getting the appreciation that he deserves.

EDIT: More impressions

Maybe now we can put an end to her anus of a performance.

Ahah, I feel the exact same way at the moment. I like Mario, but I think there's really little competition here.

I like Mario too, and I appreciate the huge influence the franchise has had on the industry, but at this point it desperately needs to either renew itself or just end completely. I'd have preferred it if the series had ended with Galaxy, especially since that game really felt like a final installment, not to mention that they will probably never be able to outdo it.

I have SM Galaxy 2, and i enjoy it a lot (of course not as much as Rayman). Looks like the blimp fruit (my favorite powerup in Galaxy 2) returns in Super Mario U. At least there are some pink inflate Yoshies.

When the Mario series will end, when simply all ideas are used some other series will take Marios place as the next worlds most beloved game series. If it would be Rayman, that would be GRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

I don't think that would be so great if he takes Mario's place, because that would imply Rayman would just take the cash-in path. Maybe Rayman will lead us into a new direction, and innovative one.

I can only say I saw this coming. Mario was good when I started playing it, but now it's boring as fuck. His platformers are the same over and over and Mario Kart can't even top Mario Kart Wii, that has got boring after that much time. I am really happy that Rayman is back, at least him can bring back my childhood and beat the crap out of boring Mario. Just saying, no hate.

To get finished, I don't know if I need to say this but just in case: Gamegirl do NOT remove system32. That would destroy your computer.

I don’t understand the use of the word ‘never’ in relation to technology. Five years from now, Super Mario Galaxy will seem laughably outdated.

I am obligated to buy New Super Mario Bros 2 because my favorite characters are in it. :tssk:

Rayman Legends also looks to be the best thing on the Wii U console, right next to Pikmin 3, which looks great.

Ocarina of Time is still considered one of the best games of all time, and its graphics are laughably outdated.

I'm pretty sure he meant the game itself, not the technology.

The two cannot be separated.

Never, but hardly anything else is wrong with it when compared to current standards, aside from some of the older mechanics.
spiraldoor wrote:The two cannot be separated.
It depends what aspect of the game you're looking at. Graphhics are by far the most noticeable differences between generations.
