Nope, < hasn’t jailbroken since 2013. < thinks it’s a security risk.

<'s phone is rooted and stuff but nothing ever happens to <. There's no reason you'd really need to be worrying about security risks as mobile data is probably a bigger security risk than jailbreaking. < even orders things online with <'s phone a lot too and uses a bank app.

< would only expect someone to worry about that stuff if people were after them or something.

Aye, < agrees. Even <'s semi-untethered jailbreak makes <'s phone 10 times better than it used to be.

< thinks it makes a huge difference to Apple products when they're jailbroken, it's like removing the boundaries.

< has an iPod 5th gen that < tried to jailbreak last year, but it was too updated to do at that stage which made it have very limited use. < hasn't tried it again since then, but it also needs a new battery.

< says anything up to 11.3.1 is jailbreakable at the moment but it doesn't look like it's going to get much further than that.

It's just been a while since < looked into it, but surely that iPod can be done then. It was only on 9.3.5 because it's way older now. < doesn't use it much now but maybe it would be fun to mess with.

< is feeling much better compared to yesterday after the talk with ^, so thanks for that. < hopes that things are ok for ^ too....aside from that broken SATA adapter. Hope ^ can fix ^'s laptop soon without much trouble.

< has been working on a basic wireframe program the past week as an easy warm-up, but < has been having trouble getting a song < uploaded to <'s website. < doesn't think the syntax is wrong and all of <'s components are in the right folder, but it's still not playing when < pulls it up. < will try and fiddle with it again tomorrow.

Yeah also < hopes that < can get away with that despite the damage < has done by thinking the fault was the header on the board and causing further damage to it. If not then it's between 70-100 including delivery for a new board

< has been asleep for theast 3 hours and <'s body just felt the need to wake up at 5am because why not < guesses

< has got a legit copy of the Academic Edition of MS Office XP Standard

< would have liked if XP kept receiving updates and had a proper 64 bit version, though it would still be much less secure nowadays either way.

Edit: So < tried to change the fan in <'s Dreamcast, but it sounded even more annoying than the original, then it kept rebooting and stuff because it's not even detecting the RPM properly. < had to disassemble the entire thing just to do that and now < has to do it to put it back the way it was.

The worst thing is that < drilled 2 holes in the case to mount the fan, so now < is left with 2 holes in the case for nothing

A few minutes ago while < was finishing <‘s session with <‘s trainer < saw on the news that it started snowing downtown. Then when < checked <‘s phone for the weather for the first time today < realised the temp had dropped 6-8 degrees. Goddamn it’s like 3 degrees (Celsius) here now and explains why it was freezing when < went outside.

< did play Rayman 2 for a while after reassembly, but things didn't go well unfortunately.

<'s week just turned to crap after < broke the laptop. Now <'s Dreamcast fan started making rattling noises so < tried lubricating the bearing. Now it sounds even louder and it's like a Ford Transit with a bad engine

< will need to figure out a way to make one of those 40mm fans work tomorrow because this fan is fubared

One of <'s lecturers exclusively uses xkcd strips as illustrations in her lectures

< has just realised when posting in a game thread that < has slept for almost 10 hours aside from waking up for about 45 minutes at one stage

Oh well, time for < to do something with the Dreamcast since < wants to play Rayman 2

< is excited about the coming of December because <'s birthday approaches soon.
