Your reply actually had nothing to do with what I said. I was saying that I don't find JonTron to be funny when placed into those kinds of GIFs representing superiority because he's kind of an idiot and rarely in any case would ever be considered to be right most of the time. In GameGrumps, even though the show doesn't really interest me, his lower-brow humour I find to be pretty funny from time to time.

I think he's a nice guy who can easily participate in a couple good jokes, but when he tries to argue with Arin he just... falls down.

I like the guy, as well as his show. He basically took the AVGN concept and did his own insane thing with it, pretty much creating a new style in the process. The vast majority of these 'reviewer' types of people fall flat with me because of how basic and 'vanilla' their stuff is, and a lot of them simply come across as boring people. Jon's faster pace and more absurd sense of humour not only makes him stand out more, but it also makes for better comedic timing.

We can just pretend like he's not an idiot in the gif. Makes it look cooler.

Yeah, exactly. I think Jontron is funny, and sometimes he really sounds like a really nice guy. But almost everytime, if the discussion doesn't involve Banjo-Kazooie or Rare games, he loses every argument against Arin. The funny thing is that he often asks people to publish in the comments who's right, and most of the time, they confirm Arin was right.

Confession time: I used to be a fan of the Irate Gamer. I thought that the concept of a nerdy gamer that overreacted when a game sucks was brilliant.

Then I discovered the AVGN, and felt in love with the show. Later I found out that he came up with the idea first. Also, the AVGN is pure genius, while the Irate Gamer just struggles trying to make funny jokes.

I watched iRate back when I was 11/12 and thought it was funny. Thank god I found AVGN. Lol last year I actually decided to watch his stuff again but instead ended up getting my brother to laugh at how fucking retarded his Where's Waldo review is.

That's his most popular video. In my opinion, it's the best one, and I'm a guy who truly defends Nuts & Bolts.
