< meant some time ago to gather some text from the Italian version of Rayman Legends, to add a few quotations at least to some of the articles…

Speaking of Rayman Legends, < tried to play it today, but discovered that Uplay was once again broken with Wine. < decided "sod this for a game of soldiers" and installed Lutris, which < was assured would make it work. < had to manually override one of the xaudio DLLs to make the sound work properly, but other than that it worked!
< was able to use the same program to get BG&E working in widescreen, finally!

< uses Lutris at times too because it saves the headache of trying to make certain things work. < didn't need it for Origins or Legends since < used the Steam versions, but it would surely help with the GoG/uPlay versions.

That's also what < was using to test Better Rayman 3.

< wonders when the timer for the days to pass for Record Day to approach will display.

Last week with <'s new instructor was pretty great, < looks forward to the remaining weeks learning from him. Today < is going to apparently be learning annotations and other things that < doesn't know about ( < will update this post later)

This is precisely why < mentioned Record Day here the other day. There's only 5 days to go and < recalls that counter being live when there was over a week to go last time.

< hadn't realised that many RayWiki articles on Rayman Legends levels require more images. < has been going through some since < happens to be playing Legends again anyway.

< accidentally uploaded a 4k (3840x2160) image to one of the articles, since < plays the game on <'s 4k TV and the screenshots are 4k. < had to resize it to 1080p since < thinks 4k images would be overkill for RayWiki and take up way too much bandwidth, as they're over 5MB each.

< found 4 threads already to revive for Record Day. < will keep looking for more in the meantime though.

< has made <'s first attempt at a contribution to the Italian RayWiki.

While < was doing it, < managed to lock up <'s display by exiting Rayman Legends (which < had done without consequence several times earlier today ) but managed to recover <'s work by SSHing in with <'s phone and asking qutebrowser to coredump, before rebooting.

< isn't exactly making the case for Linux gaming by saying Rayman Legends locked up <'s display, but < will qualify it by pointing out that < is using sway with nouveau, while a more regular gamer would probably be using Xorg with Nvidia's driver.

< is able to alt+tab out of Legends when < plays, but < is using Mesa drivers with an AMD GPU. < can't tab out of Origins though for some reason, the game won't minimise, but that's probably dxvk throwing a spanner in the works.

< has mainly worked on missing screenshots and level paintings the last couple of days. < can really only edit the English articles, but maybe some of the screenshots could still be used for other languages.

< just found this topic which < had forgotten about. < is too tired to read through the whole thing now, but it looks interesting.

< has just watched a live stream of swordofseals(a friend of Mrbean35000vr) playing The Evil Within.

< might actually play Rayman Legends tomorrow instead of playing a level just to take screenshots.

Swordofseals has done another live stream of himself playing "The Evil Within" today.

And of < course < got to watch it. And < also seen the reactions and talks going on about the weird pizza that can be ordered from time to time.

Swordofseals posted a screenshot of the weird pizza in the live stream's chat and < decided to save the picture for laughs.

< thinks it is pizza. But it is kinda like a cheeseburger since burger sauce can be used on it. You have to admit that this is the weirdest thing you can possibly order.

< sees that the timer for RD is still not counting down. Odd.

< had given up hope on getting <'s motherboard today, the tracking hadn't even updated since yesterday evening. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door just before 6PM and <'s motherboard is here.

< has to put the new one in now and make sure everything is working. < also apologises that the TTQ pace is so slow, <'s been putting a lot of effort into editing RayWiki articles, including taking good screenshots and trying to word the articles in a way so they look decent. That's the main reason < has only been asking 1-2 questions per day, as <'s paying so much attention to RayWiki.

< has the spacer bands stuck between <'s teeth to push the teeth together until the next appointment. < isn't feeling as much discomfort as < thought. There is no pain either but something tells < that it is going to ache when < doesn't want it to but for now everything seems fine.
Painkillers are stored just in case...

< might be able to make it for Record Day after all. Speaking of Record Day, < is happy to see the timer counting down for it.

<'s also very glad to see the timer counting down now.
< can't wait to be on here when that day arrives. < also found 11 threads so far to bump for the occasion but < thinks < will keep looking for a few more.

As long as ^ doesn’t go bumping silly threads like < did last year, < thinks ^ will be ok with bumping lots of threads. One day left til RD huh....for < it starts on Friday afternoon, at 4PM.

< finds it hilarious how when < checks <‘s control panel it almost always gives incorrect dates of <‘s real activity. < checked just now and it states that < was last active here on Fri Aug 16, when clearly that is not the case here.

Also do not worry ^^^, since < is sure that ^^^ is pretty busy these days, we can wait. Besides there is something exciting to look forward to soon.

Don't worry ^, < made it sure that nothing like that ever happens. By the way, one of the threads that < plans to bump is the Pwnedage Game as < thinks that would be perfect for RD since you can just post a word and then someone else could post something that beats the thing that the person said above and it could also be a joke and since RD is mainly about having fun and enjoying yourself, that would be absolutely perfect in every way for RD, < thinks.

< doesn't think Pwnedage is a good candidate, because everyone will be getting ninja-posted…
