Indeed.
Hmm, ever thought about getting any other main series titles, then?

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Seems like an interesting thing for it's time but i'd doubt i'd want to play it now. It reminds me though of this thing I believed went by the name of "Pocket Pikachu", which was basically a Pikachu Tamagotchi.Hoodcom wrote:Have you ever played Hey You Pikachu? Or seen anything about it?

Hmm, mentioning petting games, one mechanic I wish they'd bring back is the follower mechanic from HGSS, it was a pretty neat thing being able to have your Pokemon follow you around.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
That seems to be the popular feature people want. I'd only want if they fixed it so that you can take out any Pokemon you want rather than just have first in party. You don't see Ash swapping Pikachu for his Charmander whenever he's training Charmander.
Nope, on a similar note the only Nintendo non-handheld console i've ever owned (and still own) is the Wii, although it seems I play much more Gamecube games on it.Hoodcom wrote:Back then I thought it was pretty cool, really.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
Agreed, it's a neat feature, but having the first party Pokemon rule does spoil it a little if you're meant to be busy training.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've played any console Pokemon spin-offs meself. Though I have played spin-offs, but for portable consoles.

Well, if I wanted, I could play my Gen 1 pokemon games on my SNES console.

Re: General Pokémon Thread
That's right. Probably would be a tad bit easier, and at least you won't have to worry about the batteries running out in the gameboy.

Damn ninjas-
I'm actually playing through Colosseum at the moment, and it certainly is a different take on the standard Pokemon games but god damn it has broken features like save at computers.

Is it that bad in glitches? This for the GameCube or Wii?

I think it was for Gamecube, was it the one that introduced the Dark Pokemon?

Re: General Pokémon Thread
This is for Gamecube and it's more like bad features than the likes of glitches, such as the saving at a particular spot thing where all other games let you save whenever.
And Shadow Pokemon yes, which are Pokemon described as having it's heart closed. It's a lovely concept although it's another thing that's broken in this game in particular, as Pokemon forever go into this "Hyper Mode" thing which takes up a turn.
EDIT : Oh, you know what I liked in HGSS? These things that come up when you enter an important place/dungeon :

If they could do those in ORAS i'd love it to bits.

Ah yes, I think Bulbapedia called them Eyecatches, didn't FireRed/LeafGreen have them as well?

Re: General Pokémon Thread
I think so yes. Although the HGSS ones are especially gorgeous.

Also I got a Pikachu! I gave it a cute name.
Also don't worry, my Pikachu is like at Level 17 at the moment.

Who was your starter? ;D
Re: General Pokémon Thread
Charmander was my starter in which I named Paft Dunk.
