- I was repetedly told that the power was going out next Thursday. Sure enough, 45 minutes after I wake up today the power goes off. I'm fucking pissed because this is the last free day my friend had to work on a project with me, I have to write an important CryEngine news article, I was going to submit a job application before the opening disappeared, and I have to mix a track for 5 PM tonight, and the power is being restored at 5:30. Now I can do exactly zero of those things and am set back at least two weeks.

Aside of viagra sextoys and cancer I didn't stumbled upon anything too bad in a mailserver.
+ Those last days weren't bad, finished fixing the electricity in the vault, just another derivation to set up and it should be good.
+ Should get a new GPU tomorrow for my oldie computer.
+ I also should try to get a new base for a Mark VI helmet, nothing too drastic compared to the V, just more comfort.
+ Two days ago got some thermal paste for my computer, completely disassembled it and loss 10 C of heat.
+ Might have found a way to win more money, a bit risky but I think it should work.

- I'm going to be extremely busy in the coming weeks, I'll need to accelerate the end of TTQ.

That's not really the issue. The problem is that if you're running a server you need to set it up very securely to make sure spammers can't use it as a relay. And the default settings for most software seem to come from the '90s, when the idea was that anyone could use anyone else's server as a relay, for the benefit of all. It wasn't until the '00s that we learned the important lesson: People Stink! Email spam became a thing, and they started sniffing around for open relays, and sending immense quantities of spam from every possible angle. There was an incident in the summer when my server's configuration was reset to the '90s way (seemingly due to an Ubuntu software update that reset config files ) and I ended up on several blacklists. When I looked at the logs afterwards, it honestly felt like the botnetters etc were trying to ruin my server's reputation just for the hell of it (though that's obviously not really the case). And then I had to ask most of those blacklists to delist me, giving over my details to several different companies when I really shouldn't have needed to. The whole affair left a very bad taste in my mouth.

– Wow, that incident seems to be a lot more raw than one would expect it to be at this stage, since I don't seem to have paragraphed it. I think I'll leave it the way it is though.

+ Played Rayman 3 for the first time since getting my new Razer BlackWidow, so was able to charge fist while running diagonally for the first time in years.
+ Finally surpassed 500k points in it!
– Got no excuse now not to read up on making my score even better.
– Just remembered my special rank expired on Thursday.

+/- Speaking of Rayman 3 score, I'm 18k away from reaching 800k. But I know there's no way that will happen soon.
- One of the reasons why is that SBTC freezes up at the end, so any improved score won't be able to be processed.
+/- Really need to get a new copy of R3 soon.

+ Just another regular Sunday morning.
+ Watching early seasons of The Simpsons.

+ Had episodes of Samurai Jack, Robot Wars and Top Gear today
- This next week is almost here, and I am not looking forward to having to bog down on one of the assignments I'm due for.

+ Brothers came home from uni to stay the night, we had a lot of fun
- Got to get school work out the way

+ About to relax on a comfy chair. In contrast to sitting on a not so comfy different chair.
+ The next District final won't have to be taken til sometime in April.

+ Went to the beach today, had a relaxing time with husband while I was there.
+ Got a soft tan out of that, legs actually look human now

+ Had a great posting day today.
+ USA is quickly up 7-0 in a elimination game against Canada.

- Third night sleepless.
- Thinking about adding an entry in the doldrums topic.
- I really start to feel old recently.
+ All of this seemingly inspires me for something.
