< checked work emails this morning despite the fact that it's a bank holiday. < was waiting for some exciting data. :P

< will try to play Rayman 3 today, starting from the beginning with dgVoodoo. :D

< hopes ^ has fun, the game should run pretty well.

< was still playing it on Xbox because of the score < has. It does look pretty nice on PC with the higher resolution though.

< just finished LOTLD and got about 98k. < feels < could have reached 100k if < had been a bit firmer with <'sself earlier. Still, restarting is painful…

Nice, really close to 100k. :)

< thinks the Bog of Murk and the Summit Beyond the Clouds are nightmare fuel when it comes to restarting. I guess all levels are in a way, but those seem to be the worst for it by far.

< did quite a lot of restarting this time around, but couldn't bring <'sself to do it as often as tends to be required for those really really high scores…

< just watched Back to the Future 3, and still doesn't understand how the Doc ended up making a time machine run on steam…

The amount of restarting required to actually manage to get high scores can be tiring and frustrating at times. < knows that < could still improve on some levels, but it would take a lot of patience for < to beat the scores < already has.

< never did watch the third film yet, but < has seen the first and second films. < thinks the second one was funny when they went to 2015 and they were calling all the technology that was brand new at the time antiques. The ironic thing is that it's true now too. :P

< also thinks it ironic how they happened to get a lot of things right, such as flatscreen TV's and video calling etc.

< managed to improve <'s score on Rayman 3 again, < wanted to take a break from the game, but < couldn't resist. :P

< missed out on getting over 100k on SBTC due to narrowly missing the green gem in the combo, but then < didn't want to restart, as it would take way too long to go through all that flipping again.

< figured out why the Windows version of <'s patched DOSBox is crashing:
See the issue?
See the issue?
There's a null check, but no bounds check. < doesn't understand why this didn't crash under Linux…

UPDATE: < has fixed it anyway: viewtopic.php?p=1362531#p1362531

< tried to have a go at making a Hackintosh, but it seems more complicated than < was expecting.

< remembers reading about how un-straightforward it was years ago. < has never really felt compelled to try it.

< just heard about Project Pigeon, a WWII-era attempt to use pigeons to guide missiles. < wonders if this is where the idea for "Stop the Pigeon" really came from. :fou:

< wonders if this is a thread to just say what is on your mind. < is very happy with his new special rank.
