This is the same CPU that < has.

Interestingly, proton 4.11.10 seems to have broken some things. Rayman Origins for example renders all the sprites properly with DXVK and dgVoodoo using 4.2.9, but the later versions of 4.11 seem to have broken it to the stage where it gives a DirectX error on launch.

It will work on the later versions without using DXVK or D9VK, but there will be some rendering issues with certain long sprites. < would rather use the older proton and have everything work properly.

< is glad Steam allows you to pick your poison Proton version then!

Anyway, < had forgotten how convenient Proton is until < posted that message, and < had the game up and running in minutes! Some of the graphics settings are stuck on lower values though.

< is thinking about getting the Imouto Paradise 2 Visual Novel.

< was messing with the Android APK files for the Rayman games. You can get Jungle Run and Fiesta Run to work in 16:9 by changing them to a Nougat SDK (I tested 24), but Adventures doesn't work. Even if something such as the localisation file is altered, the game will just crash.

< is in the dark with two small Christmas trees with illuminating pretty lights spreading across <'s bedroom.

Feels nice.

Meanwhile, < is in somebody else’s apartment with no Christmas tree set up since <‘s aunt will be away til January. But since < is alone, < also feels nice....to be getting all the free time < needs to get thigs done.

< will be getting KFC's Holiday Special sometime this afternoon.

< has found a trick to unlocking things and finishing parties in <'s Mario Party games (5-7 only though) without < needing to play.
< plays the games by <self constantly when < feels like it so it can get pretty tiring for <.

Gives < more time to use <'s laptop, as < has some organizing < plans to do tonight.

< went to visit some relatives today. < says it was freezing out.

< got to Gonarch's Lair in Black Mesa this morning, and it took < till now to beat it. < has been on the Hard difficulty the whole time, and by 14:19 < had been on the final battle for over an hour. < said to <'sself "ten more minutes and I'm switching to Normal". At 14:29 < was on <'s way out of the Lair without looking back, having just won the battle, without having reduced the difficulty. < wonders if it's a coincidence or if there's some psychological explanation…

Anyway, < is taking a break, and may not go back to the game till tomorrow.

< had a very productive day today and helped out with a lot of stuff coming up to Christmas. < feels great right now, it seems that many people need <. < just likes being able to brighten up others by helping out.

< is happy that ^ is enjoying ^'s self in helping others.

< has been feeling really positive the past while, < discovered a long time ago that life's too short to hold grudges or let the little things bother <. The best thing to do is make the most of life and always stay positive, that's always the best way forward.
