Re: The You Game!
< has to go and get another haircut although this one is seemingly pointless. What < had a long time ago was an afro compared to what < has now.
< has to go to the real school tomorrow to dig up on what can be done about one of <'s projects. Hopefully, the trip to and from will be smooth.
< is thinking about sanitizing frequently just to get on people's good side when < is in public.

< had a haircut recently <self and it turned out weird. <'s mom wanted < to look like a Korean haircut, and instead according to <'s dad, < looked like an umbrella. Thanks parents!

< also recently found a beehive in the garden! It fell off a tree and an unrelenting cloud of bees hung around for the whole afternoon until the bee man came to work his apiformancy.

< has been trying to learn more about the different types of AMD and Intel processors for laptops.
Re: The You Game!
< might also have to call someone about it at some stage.Ambidextroid wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 5:08 am < also recently found a beehive in the garden! It fell off a tree and an unrelenting cloud of bees hung around for the whole afternoon until the bee man came to work his apiformancy.
< thinks the best way to put it is they AMD Ryzen costs less, but it's actually pretty amazing. Intel would still be slightly better for single core processing in some cases, but these days it's marginal, and Ryzen seems to be ahead for multi core processing. If you want price to performance then AMD is a really good option these days.Elite Piranha wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 6:24 am < has been trying to learn more about the different types of AMD and Intel processors for laptops.

Re: The You Game!
< read that, in order to use programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Lightroom (and do some basic video editing and animations), you need at least a processor with 4 cores (Quad Core) or more. Not so sure about the clock speed (Ghz), some websites give you a base speed and a maximum speed, other websites just give you a number and don't provide further details, my assumption is that at the very least you need a processor that can reach more than 2 Ghz at top speed.Steo wrote: Mon Jun 15, 2020 3:03 pm < thinks the best way to put it is they AMD Ryzen costs less, but it's actually pretty amazing. < is looking for a relatively cheap option that allows me to use the same programs that I currently have.
< appreciates the advice!
Re: The You Game!
< noticed you said laptop. Most CPUs these days have at least 4 cores, and in most cases even 8 threads. Even the 40 euro Athlon 200GE has 2 cores and 4 threads, but ofc this is just an example of how cheap some CPUs can actually be.
As for the speed, < doesn't think this should matter too much. Most of them would be over the 4GHz mark, but this figure doesn't always matter since the newer architecture is better; a Ryzen 3700X running at 4.3GHz would absolutely annihilate an older AMD FX series, even though they could reach 5GHz.

Re: The You Game!
Something suddenly went wrong with <'s Twitch Channel. Stuff is taking very long to load and everything looks as if they got deleted.

Re: The You Game!
< hopes so too especially for it to be resolved soon. < will not be able to make livestreams anymore if it stays like this.

The latch on <'s window handle somehow broke, so the handle wouldn't unhinge and it got stuck shut. < will have to buy a new handle soon.

Re: The You Game!
<'s Twitch Channel is back to normal all of a sudden.
< take it that Twitch has been receiving some sort of maintenance or something to that effect but either way...< is glad that the channel is fixed.
EDIT: Twitch is glitchy as fuck, man. It is so fucking broken...
That scared <. < hates to see <'s hard work disappear like that especially since < experienced that kind of thing recently.
Videos are not there at the moment, so < hopes those clips and other fun things that < made will return to me. (which they probably should)

< hopes that ^ will be able to stream again soon. Thank goodness ^'s Twitch channel seems to be alright.
Edit: Oops, < apparently decided to be stupid and fail to read ^'s edit note. Uhhh....Globox moment?
< wonders why Twitch is beng glitchy for ^? < is watching a Twitch stream atm and it seems fine.
