Have you ever heard about "Options"? :)
Yeah, it takes too much time and work to make your control options affect Murphy's voice explaining the control's in the game.

It is pretty easy to modify caption text however. In the console versions of the game (at least the PS2 version), it pops up saying "press X to jump" in the caption window.

I mean, even I managed to write a script to display text from key options inside of a dialog window. I'm sure these people could have taken 5 minutes in the porting process.

But anyway, I forgive them... it's not that big of a deal. You just have to hit escape and look at the Options menu to see it all really.

Or that might be a designing error.

Told ya! :P

It's quite logical, why would the developers make something they don't need?

Well, yeah, that would actually be great, such stuff that you know is only found after a few years after the release. Or maybe even never. :P Too bad they didn't.

Those easter eggs will then probably be in TDOTK, TLS or TTOTL.
And then maybe even in TLOTLD (But that won't be an special area or room, i completely searched in it with the fly cheat.)

I keep hearing alternate names for the R3 levels. "Umber Swamp" for the Bog of Murk, "The Moor of Mad Spirits" for the Land of the Livid Dead, "The Temple of the Grand Minimus" for the Longest Shortcut, etc. Where did these names come from? Are they official? Are they names that were announced for the levels by Ubisoft, but were changed for the final release, or what?

EDIT: The Summit Beyond the Clouds is also called "The Summit of Fury".

EDIT 1: Hoodlum Headquarters is also called "Hoodlum Meddleworks", and Clearleaf Forest is also called "The Forest of Clear Leaves".

Well, I know (from the Wiki) that this was a beta name, but I never heard any of the rest.

The Desert of the Knaaren also seems to have been called "The Deadlands".
