Sonic and the Black Knight - Knight of the Wind
Code: Select all
So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in
Drop dead, a bullet to my head
Your words are like a gun in hand
You can't change the state of the nation
We just need some motivation
These eyes have seen no conviction
Just lies and more contradiction
So tell me, what would you say?
I'd say it's time to
So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe in
Ignorance and understanding
We're the first ones to jump in line
Out of step for what we believe in
But who's left to stop the bleeding?
How far will we take this?
It's not hard to see through the thickness
So tell me, what would you say?
I'd say it's time to
So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe
This can't last forever
Time won't make things better
I feel so alone, can't help myself
And no one knows
That this is worthless to me
So
What have we done?
We're in a war that can't be won
This can't be real
'Cause I don't know what to feel
So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
Can't find hope to believe
So am I still waiting
For this world to stop hating?
Can't find a good reason
For this world to believeIKR?RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 3:24 pm I like how the Jaguar version of R1 had exclusive songs in it (made even better when they were remixed/remastered for Redemption), like Moskito's Nest and Mr. Dark Showdown. This next one isn't exclusive to that version, but it did play in Redemption's shop and Ting casino, so that's what comes to my mind first whenever R1 Jaguar music is brought up.
Rayman 1 (Atari Jaguar) - Main Menu
"Lives, power-ups, skins? You want it? It's yours, my friend, as long as you have enough Tings."
That probably would have worked well for Joe’s Wares, but the old R1 Jaguar theme works too.Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 6:30 pm There's also the Jaguar version of Eat at Joe's inside Redemption from what I discovered while exploring the music files, but for some reason, it goes unused!![]()
Would have been nice for Joe's Wares, as the file name clearly implied it was intended for a "Joe Shop"...
Neither was I, and it was truly hilarious once I found out about it! Honestly, the only thing that would’ve made it better is if you didn’t have enough Tings to buy something and he said, “Sorry Rayman, I can’t give credit. Come back for this item/skin when you’re a little, mmmmm, richer!”Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 6:30 pm I laughed so hard the moment I saw that Morshu reference when Ryemanni first unveiled the shop, I certainly wasn't expecting some Zelda CD-I to make it to a Rayman 1 remake!![]()
In fact, I kept the menu theme for the shops/Casino in the Jaguar mod as it fits really well!RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 7:23 pm That probably would have worked well for Joe’s Wares, but the old R1 Jaguar theme works too.

The Shadow Generations version is great stuff, but I can never get enough of the original!RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 7:23 pm Anyhow, this particular song has still been RUSHING through my head, thanks in part to Shadow Generations’ remix of it, so here it comes again!
Sonic Adventure 2 - Final Rush (Highway in the Sky)
Those CD-I games had so many funny lines...Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:01 pm Now we know why Rayman was relaxing in a hammock at the beginning and didn't got up until the Magician told him about Mr Dark's chaos... He was just acting like CD-I Link!![]()
"Gee, it sure is boring around here!"
"Mah boi, this Harmony is what all true thingamajigs strive for!"
"I just wonder what Mr Dark's up to!"
When I was playing Rayman Advance (for the first three worlds, then I lost interest) I was surprised by how many times they were playing Mr Dark's theme in random areas. For a quick second, when I was going through Bongo Hills and I heard that, I was wondering if I'd have a random encounter with him right there.Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:01 pm ...Though, still in regards to Redemption, if there's something that I actually didn't enjoy while working on my mods, is the sheer unhealthy amount of Advance Mr Dark's Dare I had to be put through to be accurate to the original!![]()
I heard it so many times, you couldn't even count it in Rayman Legends ports!![]()

Agreed, the SA2 version is honestly my second favorite level song from that game (behind Escape from the City, of course); why, it's playing in my head as I'm writing this!Mortamon Saturn wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:01 pmThe Shadow Generations version is great stuff, but I can never get enough of the original!RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 7:23 pm Anyhow, this particular song has still been RUSHING through my head, thanks in part to Shadow Generations’ remix of it, so here it comes again!

Some say we're never meant to grow up
I'm sure they never knew enough
I know the pressures won't go away
It's too late
Find out we're different somehow
It's too late to even have faith
Don't think things will ever change
You must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall, I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Believe me, 'cause now's the time to try
Don't wait, the chance will pass you by
Time's up to figure it out, you can't say
It's too late
Seems like everything we knew
Turned out, were never even true
Don't trust, things will never change
You must be dreaming (dreaming)
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall, I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Some say we're better off without
Knowing what life is all about
I'm sure they'll never realize the way
It's too late
Somehow, it's different every day
In some ways, it never fades away
Seems like it's never gonna change
I must be dreaming (dreaming, dreaming)
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall, I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Believe me, it's alright
It's so easy after all
Believe me, it's alright
It's so easy after allThose games were unentionally comedy gold!RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:44 pm Those CD-I games had so many funny lines...
"You dare wake me in my lair? YOU MUST DIE!" -Mr Skops
I was so confused because of that the first time I played this version, but after all I understand why they did this as they had roughly 17 tracks available for this port and they couldn't afford to use Harmony in every single Band Land level and when it already became the GBA game's main theme!RayGamer99 wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:44 pm When I was playing Rayman Advance (for the first three worlds, then I lost interest) I was surprised by how many times they were playing Mr Dark's theme in random areas. Boning, I see, somehow it always seems
That I'm dreamin' of somethin' I can never be
It doesn't matter to me
'Cause I will always be that pimp that I see in all of my fantasies
I don't know your fuckin' name
So what? Let's
Screwing might be the only way
That I can truly be free from my fucked up reality
So I dream and stroke it harder
'Cause it's so fun to see my face starin' back at me
I don't know your fuckin' name
So what? Let's fuck!
All day, I dream about sex
All day, I dream about fuckin'
All day, I dream about fuckin'
All day, I dream about sex
Yes, all day, I dream about sex
And all day, I dream about sex
Yes, all day, I dream about sex
And all day, I dream about sex
Yes, all day, I dream about sex
And all day, I dream about sex
Yes, all day, I dream about sex
All day, I dream about sex
All day, I dream about fuckin'
All day, I dream about sex
All day, I dream about fuckin'The CD-I games feel like the textbook definition of "so bad it's good" at this pointMortamon Saturn wrote: Sat Jun 21, 2025 4:21 pm Those games were unentionally comedy gold!![]()
"You've killed meeeee!!!" *melts into a puddle with his heart still beating*
"Good!"
Truth be told, Space Mama's Crater and Space Mama's Finale from the Jaguar soundtrack sounded pretty much the same to me, but I get what you mean.Mortamon Saturn wrote: Sat Jun 21, 2025 4:21 pm (Meanwhile, the chad Jaguar version had THREE Space Mama themes, so you'd hear variations of her theme both as a level and boss song!)
