Oh God, ECDL… < feels for you in that case. < did that back in Transition Year and was mostly amused by the Microsoft-centricity of it, and the fact that the interfaces we were learning to use would likely change again very soon. There was even a bit where we learned what a EULA was.

< plans to get into it asap, but the issue is that < has to start with a very simple one to have qualifications for one that < is interested in. < assumes those basic ones might even be available online, especially with COVID going on.

< probably can, ECDL seems to be a short part time one, so < assumes they probably do a few of them per year. < will look into it.

< is delighted that Rayman Legends now works with Proton! Valve seem to have figured out how to get Uplay talking to the native Steam underlying Proton, instead of trying to install Windows Steam inside the prefix!

< doesn't recall ever having issues with Legends, unless they fixed it a long time ago. < does recall uplay being weird though and < had to disable the overlay, otherwise the prompt about bringing up the overlay would just remain on screen.

< can't remember the last time < tried running it under Proton, but it was a very long time ago, probably even before they killed the online features.

< still has a couple stupid bugs to fix here.

< definitely tried it again after that, and Proton has had many fixes, so that's probably why then.

< is going to try out Crash Bandicoot 4.

< watched Inside Out on the telly this evening. < really loves that film. It only came out five years ago, but somehow it makes < feel very nostalgic.

< also likes Inside Out, < recently rewatched Corpse Bride and still loves it.

Wise words, most definitely. < really needs to keep using up with <‘s skills and remember terminology for the day that < gets <‘s next job opportunity. < is still bad with interviewing and isn’t very good with resume building/fixing so < should start going back to that career center if it’s open...
