< is happy that ^ returned also, it reminds < of a time when < was only a newcomer here.
< is also sure that ^ will enjoy Streets of Rage 4.

< just got vaccinated today, is glad that we were able to get to the Walgreens before closing time, and even then just barely, <'s gramps had to rush there and back again to get our ids, we were in such a rush we forgot them.
That aside, <'s whole household is vaccinated now, but all will keep up their guard (and masks) just to be safe.

< is glad to hear that ^ and ^'s family could get the vaccine. < says stay safe.

< is happy for ^, < hopes to get vaccinated too so that < can go on holiday abroad soon.

Honestly, <’s afraid of getting the vaccination due to <’s fear of needles and the fact that the vaccine goes into a muscle.
< has never had an intramuscular injection so < doesn’t know how painful it’ll be.

< would be somewhat worried from the possible side effects, but < still assumes any side effects would be much better than having COVID itself.

< still remembers when ^ joined, it definitely feels a bit nostalgic for < to come back here after so long
< thinks Streets of Rage 4 looks very good, < definitely will get to it at some point in the future

Personally < thinks getting a vaccine/injection is far less painful than getting blood drawn. Every time < goes to get a shot < never flinches nor feels a lot of pain (which has shocked people), compared to blood drawing. < feels for ^ though.

< thanks ^ and glad to see he's still here as well, < had it a little rough when the pandemic started spreading at the middle of last year, but has been doing much better as of recently!
< wants to get vaccined but is unsure due to a bunch of rumors relating to them, < will probably wait little bit more before finally deciding

< forgot to welcome ^ back apparently, where are <'s manners
With that said, welcome back to PC, Greeness! It was a pleasant surprise to see ^ return!
About the vaccine, < thinks it would be too early to vaccinate just yet since nobody knows about the side effects of it, so < thinks it would be best to wait. But <'d definitely get it once everything's clear in that aspect.
Also ^'s situation sounds rough, <'s glad ^'s feeling better.

< thanks ^ as well, it's nice for < to see more and more familiar faces
< also thinks it's a little bit early to judge, which is why < hasn't done it until now but completely understands why people want to get it over with(even if it doesn't even last for half a year...)
Yeah it was a bit rough for < but is thankfully fine now < thinks it was just a sign of needing to adapt to the situation and that it's something we all need to get over unfortunately.
< also thanks for ^'s concerns.

< just tends to overestimate needle pain.
< has had blood drawn though and it wasn’t too painful, just a little bearable sting.
Hey, < has been getting deep nasopharyngeal swabs every week (regular COVID testing) which are just as unpleasant, imo, and yet < handles them like a boss!
<’s getting used to needles. < has been recently been
puncturing acne zits with a hypodermic needle and it’s not too bad.
Also, < welcomes Greeness back!

< is also glad to see Greeness again!
< feels uncomfortable at the thought of an intramuscular injection, but < is sure it'll be over as quickly as possible. < just wants to get vaccinated as quickly as possible, but doesn't see it happening any time soon…

< never would have expected something like COVID to happen, so ^ managed to predict it just like the Simpsons.
< felt rebuked in <'s assertion of having meta-predicted the apocalypse (albeit with about the rigour of a monkey throwing darts at the calendar) this morning with this headline:
https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/book ... bled=false
When < mentioned that < hadn't read 1984, < then realized that it's now in the public domain so went ahead and found a PDF and read it. Naturally < went on to have nightmares, although they were the kind with a sense of menace in the air rather than anything specifically bad happening.
< thinks the whole exercise of "doublethink" sounds exhausting, but is also afraid that < is probably doing it about certain things – maybe that's the real reason < is always so tired!

< thinks it's a particularly topical concept nowadays.

< was curious if such continuous preconscious self-deception is really possible, but a search just turned up people from all sorts of political positions invoking the concept in relation to their opponents, so yeah.

< is more worried that it might be involved in <'s actual day job

< thinks it's a given with these kind of communities and especially considering it's been such a long time since we've had a mainline release, still though < thinks it's impressive this place still manages to pull through despite that!

< agrees that it's cool to have a community going into it's 18th year while not having a main game in just over 7 still have some activity. A lot of people contribute to that with fan content, such as art, games, modifications for games, etc.
