< really enjoyed that last South Park Special (even just the title is hilarious to me: "Post Covid: The Return of Covid"), and also made me feel bad for a character I never thought I would feel bad for.

< uses two thumbs while typing on a phone, < thought everyone did that.

< does touch type and has being doing it for some time now. < has literally seen people who use one finger to type on their laptop. :boon:

Same

< used to be really slow at typing, but have improved a lot since then. < does make a lot of typos too which can get a bit annoying sometimes, but < guesses it will happen less the more < practices. :)

Touch typing is another story also because of autocorrect and other things haha

< replayed Rayman Junior today and it occurred to < that it was kinda ahead of its time. Even if it was developed with six-year-olds in mind, it can still make you think at any age, and the platforming definitely presents a legitimate challenge. So it reminds < of "brain-training" type phone apps that seem to be a dime a dozen these days, only without all the ads. :P

Btw if anyone's interested < was actually playing the game on native DOS running on <'s computer from 2014. In 2022! With some help from <'s latest creation

< always found those games enjoyable! Rayman Junior, not the brain-training apps of course. :P

< still never played Rayman Junior, but < used to play some game on the DS named Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training or something. :P

< sees a crazy amount of COVID cases around here left right and centre lately. < even attended a party where afterwards someone had tested positive. < ideally needs to be able to travel by flight so it wouldn't be very good considering 3 weeks worth of flights in January have been cancelled in Ireland as is...

< is pretty sure the cases are being drastically underreported…

Anyway, < just got boosted! :teuf:

EDIT: Also, 34043rd post – palindromes ftw!

Congrats for ^'s 34043rd post! :teuf:

Also yeah, < agrees that palindromes are great. < recalls even creating a topic for them here once (though it didn't really have a lot of potential for activity so it was mainly < posting in it lol).

< sometimes I don't know if my typos are because I'm not pressing some keys hard enough or because there is a problem with the keyboard.

< created services and udev rules to automate tasks on Linux.

< still considers Linux an uncharted territory.

< considers Windows uncharted territory since, unlike Linux, the kernel source code is only available to Microsoft employees

< also thanks Aaron for the congratulations!

< has encountered/heard the term NFT more often since watching the last South Park special/movie.

< has finally rebuilt <'s PC after being stupid enough to forget something as important as the CPU cooler.

< will likely have many issues with sticking to LFS at this point considering glibc already needs to be newer for Java. :oops2:

Wow! < sees ^’s losing brain cells. :P

Just kidding, haha. <’s glad you got the PC rebuilt!

< has got all 1000 lums in Rayman Revolution for the first time ever, so < feels happy.

< is delighted for ^ about the Lums, it's great to finally achieve a long-held goal like that! :D

< is also glad Steo got the PC rebuilt. < hopes it goes all right in spite of the irregularities.
< has been thinking about a glibc upgrade too. < last did one in 2019. < is considering writing a Perl script to parse this site and tell me which binaries on my system will be affected by incompatibilities (i.e. which ones need to be recompiled). Then < can decide if it's worth the effort :fou:

< is thinking that < could just make a backup of <'s SSD which contains LFS, then restore it if things head south. That's probably cheating though.

Haha, < felt really stupid afterwards. < had left a water cooler at home, but < couldn't really travel with it because it has liquid.

< is just glad to see the dust gatherer back up and running. :P

< indeed did have fun playing (or, actually, completing <’s old save file)! < thinks Rayman games never get old.

< agrees that for the most part the Rayman games never get old. < finds them a lot more replayable than BG&E. Probably due to their linearity…
