< knows it's tangentially related, but finds it pleasing that this was posted the same day that Google seem to be reconsidering dropping JPEG-XL from Chrome :hap: Seemingly JPEGs can be recompressed as JPEG-XL with no loss and smaller filesize…

< has the exact same issue with time management. < is glad that ^^ is getting back into languages like C. < remembers talks about it years ago, and back then < knew nothing about programing other than some basic Python. OOP actually turns out to be extremely useful, and is even used in Unity a lot. It's not always necessary to use OOP, but it's most certainly very efficient when you get the hang of it.

< wants to look into JS at some point too, but < would like to do either C++ or C#, due to the fact that the former is very useful for many reasons, and the latter is used in Unity, which < will use for some game dev every so often. < will finish <'s Python course first though, and it's much more advanced than the first course, which is a good thing.

< wishes ^^ the best of luck with their studies. The way < learns isn't very linear either, like < can look over notes and take notes etc., but it almost feels like < doesn't process anything at the time. Later then, it turns out that < does in fact remember a lot of what < had revised, it's just interesting how it works. < still finds the best way for < to learn personally is to practice by applying the solutions. For example, making a little personal project, like < did with a DPCM to WAV converter < wrote in Python. Little personal projects like this make it fun to apply anything that you have learnt (and learn more), even if they're very simplistic projects, they give you a reason to practice and improve.
