I wonder how they expect to sell S.E. GameCube controllers when the adapters cannot face the high demand.

Something tells me this may be a marketing stunt, an incentive for people to buy them fast so Nintendo can be like "oh, sorry guys we're sold out" to get people to pre order them fast, and they just wait to put another batch back in stock so people can quickly pre-order again, it'll give people the incentive to buy ASAP.

If you think about it, this could be the case.

As much as I despise Skylanders, at least no Skylander is out of stock and they have been out since 2011.

Actually, a Nintendo Rep just said none of the First Wave Amiibos are getting discontinued. They should restock soon, just like the Adapter.

I managed to find 3 GC adapters in my living area. Knowing how demand is in abroad I feel tempted to get the accessory soon even though I don't have the game. Like this I would not have bad surprises when I was managing to get the game and then I was looking for the accessory.

How much do they even cost retail? I only seen insane eBay prices of adapters.

The defect is supposed to be because it is not male Wii Fit Trainer but a female one which seller consideres sexist and misandrist as can be seen in description. He obviously just tried to make a joke similar how one guy sold "invisible" Amiibo
