< didn't get a great sleep either, but < still slept for about 6 hours. < was watching an episode of Pokémon at 3AM.
< hopes that ^ can manage to sort out their sleeping pattern too.
< got about 4 more hours after < eventually slept. < got up around the same time as < did yesterday so not all bad. ^ makes < want to watch Pokémon or finish up the Pokémon games < still hasn’t finished.

< thinks it's good that ^ got more sleep. < also wants to play all the Pokémon games < didn't play, but < is considering getting a flash cart for the GBA given some of the games are really expensive at this point. < wanted to go from gen 3 up since < played the first two many times. It would be fun to play all the ones < didn't play.

< has noticed the cost for some of those Pokemon games are incredibly ridiculous for certain. < would think those games would be one of the best selling games out there and that they wouldn't be rare.

Yeah exactly, and the unfortunate thing is there are a lot of knock-off carts out there too. < wants a genuine one for obvious reasons, and even Sapphire seems to be about 600kr (basically around $60 or €60 roughly). It's not crazily expensive ofc, but it's just one game of many that < would want, and it's an old used one. < is almost scared to look at the prices of the DS games.

Yeah that is a big problem < is aware of, are the stupid knock off cartridges. It definitely makes it harder to shop for online anyway.
< fortunately has about all < wants Pokemon wise anyway at this point. So it's not a big deal.

Haha yeah Steo actually sent a capture that shows just how nauseating RF looks like.
Steo wrote: Wed Dec 06, 2023 4:17 pm

< must thank Fifo because < mixed up component in that message. < meant to say RGB and component.

< just accidentally read this as "< hates you so much".
Maybe < can blame ADHD too.
The reason is because < is scatterbrained too after just taking <'s final practice test for <'s Python course. < just got 92% on it though, so < is pretty happy with that.

Geeze Steo, really?
< hasn't been told that ^^ hated < in a

< Also will just have to say ^ had stereo ADHD over that one.

Well now, that's a really great score in <'s eyes! ^^ probably will practice some more but < thinks ^^ would definitely do well whenever ^^ decides to take the real test.
On a side note, < wonders if Fifo would still get upset with < if for some reason < accidentally calls him Pheepho while drunk or something?

< hasn't played any games from gen 3 up until < got Shield for gen 8 and Violet for gen 9. Basically everything from gen 4 to gen 7, < hasn't played, not counting spin-offs like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and such.

< recently probed the composite video output of a temperamental VCR using a Picoscope that < borrowed from a friend. The VCR had been going blank-screen when playing a tape. But of course once < started trying to debug, the problem magically went away by itself

Isn't that typical of electronics? Once you go to test and diagnose a problem, they magically work perfectly. How annoying, huh? :lol

< has seen it happen in work too, at the microscopic level. We had parts randomly failing and whenever they went to the FA lab the failure would magically disappear as soon as they tried to analyse it. Eventually it turned out to be an electrostatic induction problem involving high voltages (like 50~100 V!) developing between metal lines in the device that were isolated from each other.

< is glad that < pushed ^ to go ahead and have that done for the green Globox, since < knows ^ loves the green color.
< Wonders if the snow will be activated for Christmas day? Though yeah, doing the Christmas theme like it is now is plenty for the full month. It looks great, and < was happy to help with the banner.
