One of <'s friends is playing Portal 2 finally, after completing Portal 1 recently. < is having fun watching that.

< Has been working with Sims 3 modding again. One of the things < wanted to do was have something nicer for the bigger stereos in the game. Going from the EA texture to something more based on a set of speakers I do own, the Cerwin-Vega! XLS-215.

TSR Workshop: The Sims 3 itself with the texture updates in place: Of course the models used here is a mod of someone's revamped version of the stereo in the game anyway, but that didn't stop < from playing around with it.

Ah yeah, < never responded to ^, but you're welcome guys. <'s glad everyone enjoyed the month-late Christmas presents.

Wouldn't that be nice? Come to think of it, < still has <'s month-long special rank that < has not actually used since < hosted TTQ last month.

Speaking of last month < had deja vu as < had another tea accident and <'s library books got soaked. Again. < should remember to stop putting sealed cups of tea in <'s backpack (especially if they have very flimsy protection).

Hmmm, < sees, but now <'s question is, can <'s special rank be a Christmas rank? < hasn't decided yet but <'s curious about that.

< says the ship has definitely sailed on the custom Christmas ranks, but if you had a Christmassy rank with an official character (like Noëlle) it would technically be allowed

< has been incredibly busy this week. < spent almost the entire week writing a couple of reports. It wouldn't have been a big deal if < didn't have to look for information from old projects which were done around 3 years ago. < didn't want to spend <'s free time using the computer, so that's why < hasn't been quite active on the forums this week

< also received <'s new laptop yesterday and has been transferring all the information to the new one. <'s 8 year old laptop has been working perfectly, but the new one is waaaay faster and < can't be happier about it . < transferred almost all the entire data and will give <'s old laptop to <'s father or to <'s sister (depending on the person who needs it more).

< is glad that ^'s new laptop is working so well! < also knows the feeling of needing to search for three-year-old info that has suddenly become relevant again. Bonus points if ^ was the only one who realized it was relevant and knew where to find it

< has an open expansion slot on the back of <'s PC, through which < has threaded a really long RS-232 cable. < only this week realized that this is a huge EMC no-no, and now wonders if this is responsible for the weak WiFi signal in this corner of the house

It was something < was working on three years ago during the final degree's project and < thought it was important (or at least < was told), so < kept all that data on the computer. However, even < thought it was fine, nobody told < about that project anymore. < didn't want to delete the files, because < thought it was a good work and < was proud of it as it was part from <'s final degree's project, so < kept all the information in <'s computer.

< received an unexpected email. The guy < and <'s boss were working with contacted us, saying that he wanted to perform a few catalytic tests before start writing the manuscript! After that, < had to look at all the information saved and compilate everything in the supporting information.
