From Doomsday Blue to Doomsday Clock: today, the Monday after Eurovision weekend, < was pleasantly surprised to receive a copy of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' annual report in the post! (Not that it's that pleasant to be reminded it's 90 seconds to midnight, but you know…)

<'s happy to say < could spend more time than usual playing! < started playing a couple of weeks ago Tunic and today < got the platinum trophy as it was an "easy" one. < has to admit it's been one of the best experiences < had, and < highly recommends everyone to play that game. It has tons of secrets and <'s very sure you won't get disappointed with it

. < would like to play Dark Souls soon, and hopefully < will start playing it next week. < is also happy for playing videogames "regularly" again as <'s managing to have more free time to enjoy them.
< has to make a decision for next year. It's still soon, but unfortunately < has to start thinking about it now. < will probably have to go for a few months to another country for work reasons, but < isn't fully convinced about it. < still doesn't know the country if < finally has to go, but Sweden seems to be one of the options.

< says to ^ to say hi to Steo and Hoodoo for <, if ^ decides to go to Sweden!

(Yes, < knows that's pretty much a long shot hahaha)

<'s been busy organizing <'s new laptop. Since <'s old laptop screen isn't functioning atm, <'s been transferring data so < can continue with <'s business to <'s new laptop. Oh, and < guess < will be making three virtual desktops for it since it's going to be an all-purpose one now.

< has downloaded rayman 2 for N64 on the iOS’ Delta emulator. < is sure ^ will appreciate it

. < wonders if anyone has any game recommendations that can be played on NES, SNES, N64, GBC, GBA, DS?

< certainly hasn’t, but will give it a shot!
As for rayman 2, < found it playable, but noticed a lot of texture glitches, such as Rayman’s hands and the walls being black

< still needs to get around to actually playing through FFVII. < had played it for a lot of hours before, but never actually finished it.
< will be going to Ireland again in a week. < dreads the thoughts of travelling because it's been a while. < wonders if < will ever get used to travelling and stop being scared of everything. < always worries about feeling sick etc.

< used to always just nap throughout a flight and by the time < wakes up, <‘s already either at the destination or halfway there. < wonders exactly how long is ^’s flight though?

It's only 2 hours 45 minutes, but < has to take a 2 hour train beforehand and a half hour bus, then another half hour bus when < gets to Ireland. < just generally gets nervous about travelling and worries about being sick etc. The latter of course isn't good to do and makes you feel worse. If < was able to avoid the negative thoughts and worrying, it would actually be kind of exciting.

< has returned from vacation. < went to Disneyland and then stayed with <'s sister. < originally planned to stay there only a few days, but < got Covid so < ended up staying a week longer than anticipated. In that time, < also ran out of antidepressants and that really screwed < up for a while. But < is back home now and has taken <'s medicine so all is well!

< is glad to hear it
Covid, there's something you don't hear much about anymore, thank God and touch wood… < does seem to have picked up some virus that's going around work though, and is now enduring it on top of hayfever

<'s stressful weeks are over, and after an extremely hard work < has a paper published! That means < has free time again

. < celebrated it with friends this weekend.
< has also started playing Dark Souls, as < wanted to do right before these last weeks. < is dying a lot, but < is enjoying the experience.

< just randomly checked the live reading of how much wind energy is being generated on the island of Ireland, and found it was exactly
1.21 gigawatts

No! Never give up
< thought it was going to be waaaay harder. Of course, the game is hard, but luckily < only needs a few tries to know what to do. < hopes < can finish the game before holidays.
