< noticed PS5 got a new update, and they’ve finally added themes!

Wow, somehow even they managed to do it before Nintendo did for the Switch...

< knows it's not gonna happen, but < would like the Switch's successor to have themes again...and just a bit more personality in general, < does miss the quirks and personality that the Wii/DS/Wii U/3DS had.

< really misses the home menu and stuff like how the Wii, 3DS, Wii U had themes/music for literally everything. However everywhere < goes on switch, < is just met with empty, bland screens.

The most stupid thing < has seen about it is fans DEFENDING the switch menu. Saying it doesn’t matter because it has better games, which < also disagrees with

There’s an option for screenshots, PlayStation themes and game themes, although the library is quite small considering it’s practically a brand new feature

Update: < bought a PicoScope a couple of weeks ago, and during this week used it to track down the root cause of the loud crackling to (what looked like) a dodgy NPN transistor on the tone-control board. < ordered some replacement transistors from DigiKey, and capacitors too just in case, and they were supposed to arrive today (so < could perform the repair over the weekend) but they didn't! So then < decided for the moment to just hack in an NPN from an old box of electronic components < got years ago. Not the best soldering job in the world, but the connections seemed to be solid enough…

Initially it didn't seem to do any good, but after a few power cycles the loud crackling subsided in favour of some relatively quiet background noise. < can live with that for the moment! (especially considering the new components < ordered should arrive next week )

Oh my gosh, ^ too? <‘s woken up so late this morning today! Which is weird since < usually gets up earlier than 10

< has almost reached 200 posts today! Which < initially said as a joke but it is soon to become reality

< misses the times when < used to wake up at 6am back then

< doesn’t miss the times when <‘s sleep schedule was broken. It actually feels nice to have one.

< remembers this time last year constantly waking up at 5am and not being able to get back to sleep again

< Doesn't feel like there's enough time in a day, thus why < doesn't get much sleep.

< wants to go downstairs and get the taste out of <‘s mouth but < is too lazy

This would also explain why < almost never gets all of <‘s stuff done in one day. Usually takes multiple days. :lol.

< Certainly can relate to that. Especially when things feel like they're taking longer than they should.

< is currently checking out the new PS5 edition of Minecraft. < honestly think it runs a lot better than the PS4 version, and < is enjoying earning all the trophies again
