It may not be X11 depending on how old the system is, try to locate the configuration folder.

Old? No seriously, most systems don't have a Xorg.conf unless you create it manually. The NVIDIA driver creates one automatically though. I'm not sure if there are other tools that help with it (and if there aren't there should be!).

What ? Modern systems don't have a Xorg.conf, old ones have it, if it ain't created a tool allows you to create it, xorgsetup or xorgconfig.

+/- Weekend doesn't come without an incomplete assessment or two.
+ Got the rest of today and Sunday to get it done.

+ I had a really nice barbecue for dinner for the first time in ages, with chicken, lamb and duck

+ Finally released a library I was working on!
+ Time for duck confit and pommes dauphines now.
