< is glad that ^ is so helpful to the positing people. They probably don’t get much customers in this age of email

Ah, is it making a resurgence in Slovakia? < wouldn’t expect that. Maybe because Royal Mail is horrible so nobody uses it

< says people also send packages etc, not just letters

Also, < sends letters to friends mainly because it feels more personal than IM/e-mail

< would certainly agree with a second point, and certainly forgot about the first one!

< has probably never sent a letter :oops2:

< has been reading about dam removal in the Klamath river. < would love to see something similar happening on the River Lee in <'s lifetime, but it doesn't look too likely for the moment…

< feels like making this point again because a CERTAIN SOMEONE keeps butting in like "i acctually thinks this SUCKS" when someone else talks about something in a postive light :mefiant: < just thinks its a bit annoying and unnecessary when the convo doesnt ask for it.

Is this about Greengoop? At first when ^ said it < thought it was about < (since < was doing it heavily to anyone who said they liked RL... :oops2:)

But < assumes it's about this https://raymanpc.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 8#p1503578 :hinhin:

All Greengoop has to do is just watch the show and he'll see that it's not exactly that bad. :oops2:

Ah, makes sense.

< doesn't see it as a problem personally but < can see how it could get on someone's nerves...

With that being said, < now understands why everybody hates <'s opinions

< is thinking about checking out a nearby cafe to scout out for a possible job! :D It's a small quiet spot, a bit tucked away. Has a nice fountain area with some trees 10 paces away.

< is glad ^ had a good trip! < wonders what ^ must've seen out there! :mryellow:

< does as well, < much prefers opinion based discussions because it's fun to hear others opinions even if they're the worst thing ever

For <'s uninformed 2 cents on the matter, < thinks folks aren't obliged to like or dislike things, but < would exercise some tact. Interjecting into an ongoing conversation to just state that you dislike the subject matter without actually engaging with the conversation being had is going to annoy the folks who are trying to discuss the matter.

And < would imagine the annoyance would stem less from the stated dislike and more just to the fact that it had nothing to do with the specifics of what was being talked of and thus doesn't constructively add to the conversation - if anything it'd probably kill it. Guess what I'm saying is, try to discuss in good faith and engage with the conversation.

That being said, < doesn't think folks expressing dislike is bad either, so long as it's relevant, or it in itself is the topic of discussion. God knows we've had enough interesting discussions talking about why we don't see eye-to-eye regarding the UbiArt or Classic Rayman eras, and < thinks that's a good thing, we may not agree, but we can learn as to what our perspectives are.

Yeah < thinks there's no harm in agreeing to disagree in some cases. Sometimes it's the best way. < also generally likes constructive arguments if someone has a problem with something or sees a flaw in it. It comes a lot better than just saying that something is crap etc.
