- A house is on fire 3 houses next to mine. It's a really bad fire, I saw quite a lot of fire rising up pretty high and the house next of it was burning a bit too.
+ Right now the flames are gone from the outside, just smoke now (though it's lots), fire fighters are doing a good job.

Well it's not entirely selfless, I think it can be a good plus to show such work when applying for a job.

Well the problem is that once you're done working on the interesting stuff, you have to finish the boring stuff too if you're going to publish it, and many projects don't get past that stage.

+ R1 PS1 level format becoming clearer; I can now generate just barely functional new levels rather than modifying pre-existing ones
+ had a great great party two nights ago
- wow I've felt non-stop tired the last two days

+ I got to sledgehammer furniture and a bridge apart last week for a good 3.5 hours straight, and it was super fun
- It took almost a week of aching and hardly being able to use my hands for the bruises/lacerations from simply using the hammer on my hands and wrists to go away

What’s wrong?

+ Finished that report.
– It took me right up until lunchtime, I disappoint myself.
– The reason is that dealing with so many Figure/Table cross-references just makes me glaze.
– Bus strike didn't end today even though it looked like it might.
+ Cystic Fibrosis sufferers in this country will be provided with medication next month!

As someone who's also working on a report, oh lord cross-referencing and figures...just...urgh.
+ More or less done with the report
- Still need to send it to my supervisors for any last minute suggestion
- I still have to do a poster afterwards
- I have exams to worry about also
+ All this build up might be nerve wracking, but it's the prelude to the end of the academic year, which is nice.

+ Have some rather decent asks on my RP blog. Will most likely spend the evening answering them with my husband as a grammar and spell checker. Who knows, I might draw for a couple of them as well.
+ Made a huge batch of rice and beans. We won't have to worry about a starch base all week. This should speed up cooking.
- Eating is still gay!! But I think the sushi buffet I'm going to tomorrow will psyche me enough and get me on track again.

- I just had the most abominable series of For Glory fails last night (nr0r is a witness). I'm confident I'd be a lot less shitty if I tried again tonight.
