< just picked up <'s acoustic guitar for the first time in a while. < forgot how much it can hurt your fingers when you're not used to it, even just the muscles in your hand, especially for barre chords.

<‘s surprised that ^ hasn’t picked up a guitar and played for a long time :o

With this post also < has reached a new thousand! At the risk of sounding like Goop.

< has drawn a funny RayComic in the french forums.

But < thinks it's too sophisticated for all of you because it's in french (and therefore arrogant)

Haha yeah steel strings are a pain when you start playing after a while eh? Also barre chords are indeed a real pain on acoustic, especially so on 12-string ones, says <.

That save with the < tho

< went to Brussels this weekend on the Eurostar. < did a food tour and got to experience the best chocolate, frites and beer on offer. < recommends it to anyone who's never been! < especially enjoyed the Kriek A.K.A. cherry beer.

< hasn't played a 12 string but < can imagine, it would be double the tension.

< was using the acoustic one though, it's definitely a lot harder than electric due to the higher gauge. Electric strings can be so thin since they have pickups anyway.

< confirmed <'s attendance to a lunch for tomorrow. However, < feels a bit tired and would prefer staying home, but < feels bad about that

Sometimes < thinks it's good to force yourself, as time goes on opportunities to hang out are far less common, so make the best of what you got.

^'s right and that's precisely the reason why <'s going tomorrow
Although < goes out with friends almost every week, < feels is getting closer to those ages where it's hard to meet them.

At least ^ has the opportunity to see them. <‘s friends live too far away for < to visit them atm. Including the ones here on the internet.

Cherish those moments! :)

< thinks that must have been a cringe moment when you discovered that :fou:
Well, by that point < had already seen other co-workers do the same with their profile pictures (in Studio Ghibli style), so I guess < was just mildly amused.

< misses playing PVZ and recently was tempted to play Garden Warfare.

< is also on win10. <'s already asked of “Switch to 11?” but has got the full answer of “NO.” < agrees with the part ^ said about a scare tactic, mainly because it worked on me :| If < didn't know better, < would've actually done it!

As for scripts, there probably are some, but < would be careful looking into that since… well… they're scripts. You have NO IDEA what that will do to your computer.

^ shouldn't take <'s word as gospel though, since < knows nothing about computers and fully believes they run on magic and hope.

< is worried for <'s laptop during school... < needs to charge it a lot cuz the battery life is only 3 hours!

< wonders if the battery in ^'s laptop is worn or if it's a smaller capacity one. It might be worth looking into and seeing if ^ can get a replacement down the road if it's a worn one.

Failing that, is carrying the charger with ^ a viable option?

< thinks a lot of laptops that are a few years old tend to have bad batteries, though old ones even that weren't worn still had short battery life. There are a lot of power efficient ones that are made for working and not heavy stuff like playing games these days though, which last a long time.
