Depends really, < would also check to see how easy it is to replace the battery in the first place, there are many laptops that will require a fair amount of disassembly just to reach the battery, and if you're not the best with DIY disassembly and reassembly, that might be a challenge all on its own.

Yeah the old ones used to just have removable batteries, but that goes way back at this point. Even <'s Legion 15 has a built in battery too.

It's probably not the wisest option, but < finds it's a lot easier to sleep if <'s worn <self out. Perhaps < wonders if ^ can go any brisk walks during the day?

<‘s laptop won’t connect to <‘s wifi or <‘s hotspot. < reset <‘s network settings and didn’t work either! Does < have to replace some internet thing in their laptop???

< wonders if ^ knows what model of laptop ^ has, usually there's a service manual on its product page that should tell ^ where the WiFi Module is. That being said, has ^ tried the age-old IT solution of turning the computer off and on again? Sometimes a reboot can do the trick.

Failing that, yeah take a look at the WiFi Module if it's still playing up, and see if it's a replaceable part.

Ok, type "sysinfo" into the search bar, click on "System Information," and on that window, < wonders if ^ can see a model number.

Also < got <‘s laptop back and is currently using <‘s phone to type on here… < finds it horrible.

< remembers getting the highest score in <'s class on that back in the day, and being the only one left running for a long time. < would probably be the first one to sit down if < was to attempt it now though. < became really unfit compared to like 18 years ago.

< has now access to the laptop… when < went to check the modem… there was nothing on its page. <‘s friend said maybe something came loose on <‘s trip to school

< remembers never getting past the low 4s in the beep test in all <'s years in school… < thinks < had a problem with pacing, since < would reach the wall with time to spare on the early levels and get tired out. Not that it would have made that much difference

< has only done the bleep test once in year 7, and < thinks it was pretty fun. < hopes we do it again sometime

< doesn’t have any memory doing this kind of test at all. Not like < would have been any good at it then, and < certainly wouldn’t last even one round today. And < hates running anyway. Even as a kid, < hated running, since <‘s dad used to take us to the track every weekend and make us jog. Sometimes < would refuse and just walk the whole way home (which would be like several miles….the irony).
