Eventually you could write them down.
Hm... unfortunately, all the PCs in here no longer have XP.RayFan9876 wrote:If you install it on an XP computer and then just literally copy over the files to your main one with Windows 7, the game runs perfectly.
Turn off the "Transform and Lighting" option in the DX8 setup app in the Rayman Arena folder. It's not to do with having hardware that's too old, it's to do with having hardware that's too new. The same concept is applied for Rayman 3.Cairnie wrote:Well, I gave that a try, but any idea on how to make it not look like this?

Gee and this laptop's supposed to have an i5 chip.
It pretty much entirely depends on the architecture, which isn't always chronological.stan423321 wrote:Weird, my not so old card (Radeon HD 4000) has no problems with T&L as in Rayman M. I'd rather say that laptop has an integrated chip.
I tried installing like that but every time I tried to run the game it said 'please run the DX8 setup'stan423321 wrote:I "installed" RM on W7-64 by literally copying both discs to a single folder. It works (though R2-like resolution hack does not). However my Windows 7 is quite stable for a PC... I believe.
Have you done that?R@yman1995 wrote:I tried installing like that but every time I tried to run the game it said 'please run the DX8 setup'stan423321 wrote:I "installed" RM on W7-64 by literally copying both discs to a single folder. Wouldn't that like totally conflict with DX10 though?Master4lyf1 wrote:Have you done that?R@yman1995 wrote:I tried installing like that but every time I tried to run the game it said 'please run the DX8 setup'stan423321 wrote:I "installed" RM on W7-64 by literally copying both discs to a single folder. If not, navigate to the install folder there should be an executable for DX setup.
Not at all. The DX8 setup application is merely the graphical configuration settings for the game.R@yman1995 wrote:Wouldn't that like totally conflict with DX10 though?Master4lyf1 wrote:Have you done that?R@yman1995 wrote:I tried installing like that but every time I tried to run the game it said 'please run the DX8 setup'stan423321 wrote:I "installed" RM on W7-64 by literally copying both discs to a single folder. The fact that a product is currently unavailable doesn’t mean everyone is entitled to it for free.TeensieKing wrote:BTW where can I download RM for PC? I don't think it's illegal now,it can't be bought to UbiSoft now!
This is absolutely true.spiraldoor wrote:The fact that a product is currently unavailable doesn’t mean everyone is entitled to it for free.TeensieKing wrote:BTW where can I download RM for PC? I don't think it's illegal now,it can't be bought to UbiSoft now!
